Great layout and course conditions. Be aware that some holes have a long cart drive between them. Will definitely play again.
Excellent course
Probably the best public access course all around I’ve played in southwest florida, right up there with Riverhall if not as good. Really nice from tee box to green, good friendly staff. I’d recommend to any level player.
Can't wait to play again
Love the course layout and conditions for late spring (no rain). Course was well managed with rangers visible throughout the day to keep the pace of play moving. And cold towels! Can't wait to play again.

Superb condition, well manicured, fun course to play. Would never get tired of playing Herons Glen every day; that is how I judge a good course/layout from an average one. Herons Glen is a gem!
Good course for the money, friendly staff, no GPS
Our only complaint was the carts, if you are "the best course within 50 miles" as proclaimed by the pro one would think you would have carts with GPS or distance on them because even low end courses have those (played FM CC and they had for 1/2 the cost-players that are from out of town or new to your course it would be very useful.... was very surprised that that was not the case. Club rental quality was excellent. Staff was excellent pace of play. Excellent course condition. Excellent. Overall and enjoyable day, but upgrade your carts, please and we will be back!!
Greatness
This public course is one of my top favorites. The course is maintained very well, the tees to greens are in great shape. The layout is very nice and has easy and difficult holes. The staff is very friendly and the members are all very nice. I love coming to play when possible.

Every time I play I meet wonderful people and they all make me comfortable and friendly. The course is amazing conditions and I keep coming back

Love this course, but as a local, don't love the 135 dollar fees this time of year. I'd play more but it's too expensive.?!...
