Greynolds Golf Course
       About
Formerly the site of a rock quarry, the par-36, nine-hole Greynolds Golf Course now shares the landscape with a hardwood hammock and mangrove forest that is one of the most well protected natural areas in northern Miami. The carefully preserved surroundings support an abundance of wildlife including several species of birds and rare, colorful butterflies. The golf course is part of Greynolds Park, which offers scenic camping grounds and numerous nature trails in addition to the golf course. There are also excellent opportunities for kayaking and canoeing thanks to the Oleta River, which runs alongside the east side of the park. Opened in 1964, the golf course has a traditional layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels. More advanced players can enjoy a quick round while less experienced golfers can get in some good practice.

Greynolds disappointment
Today I played at Greynolds Park, I used to place here a year ago more often but then the greens started to get really bad.
I went today hoping to see a little difference but to my surprise, the greens were worse than ever, I’ve never seen anything like this, some patches of high grass, weeds, mud, sand, etc. There’s a hole that they even invented another green due to the poor condition.
I just can’t believe how they rather invest in gps golf carts that make no difference than actually taking care of the course.
I’m really disappointed because I live next to Greynolds and it’s just so convenient for me to play here, but after todays experience, I’m never coming back.
This course is a great one for beginners and practice
This is a great course and staff are super friendly. The course need maintenance tho. I have seen a constant deterioration of the course specially in the greens and the tee box. If these things are fixed I would definitely recommend.
Greens have been steadily deteriorating, as I have been playing course often. This last time playing, most of the greens were missing any spots of grass and were just hard dirt. Sad to see this course now after decades open to the public.
Not too expensive, but the greens are in the worst shape of any greens I’ve ever seen. Same with the tee boxes, there is no flat spot on the entire tee to set up to hit a drive
Greens gave me the blues!
Don’t get me wrong.i love Greynolds. It’s local. 9holes quick pace of play..friendly staff..good price..all that is good.
However the greens are an embarrassment. I’m not sure what’s happened..maybe the staff has no idea how to manage 9 greens..the 9th is decent ..the first 8 holes are horrendous. Miami-Dade county needs to hire some professional greens keepers to restore these greens..even if it takes a season..
There’s nothing worse to a golfer, amateur, hacker or pro than miserable greens. It ruins the fun of getting to the green.

Great but greens were poor condition
It was great but the greens were horrible, poor maintenance. The cart was fun with the GPS but then stopped you if you go out of bound which is annoying
Nice 9 hole
Course was fun to play and pace of play was excellent. Only negative was that greens were sanded and in rough shape. Otherwise a great 9 hole course.
Terrible staff and greens
The staff was extremely unfriendly. Never dealt with such unfriendly staff before. The guy at the register literally grabbed my card and threw it back at me after he processed it. My friend asked to split the payment on his card and was completely ignored. Not to mention the greens were in terrible condition. Completely unacceptable.
Course is in bad shape
This course is in poor condition, with burnt grass throughout and greens that are in dire need of attention. While they have upgraded the golf carts, it doesn’t compensate for the overall state of the course. Unfortunately, the improvements in amenities don’t match the neglect seen on the fairways and greens.
