The Country Club of Orange Park provides a scenic challenge with a diverse landscape of protected wetlands and towering oak trees. There is also a bird sanctuary that runs along the entire right side of the first five holes, offering golfers a glimpse of the wildlife that inhabit the golf course including wild turkeys, deer, and osprey. The layout features tree-lined fairways and large greens. The golf course has a more traditional feel with tees and fairways that were cut close to the greens, resulting in a narrow field of play. There is water on 14 holes and bunkers strategically placed around the greens.

Course is in good shape. Fairways are very good and greens are moderate.
This is a great value. Best in Florida?! The course is in good shape. The Fairways are very good while the greens are average. It's all very playable and well maintained. I would do it again as soon as I have time. No complaints. This is a fun course to play and can be very challenging.
Course design is great
Staff was friendly, course design is great, great pre round practice area, driving range, chipping area, putting green all good. A few greens on the course a little fluffy.

Great bang for your buck would select over other courses
A little disappointed
I was a little disappointed in the condition of the course. The green were really unplayable so we just took 2 putts per hole. Over all the course had seen better days.
Good Hot dogs
The whole experience was pleasurable! The people that work the course are fantastic.
Challenging Course for beginners
Was challenging with lots of water, but very nice. Since it's fall/winter months, the greens were WAYYYYYYY overseeded, but still playable.
Good layout, nice range and short game practice area
Greens were sanded but still rolled reasonably true. Course in good condition for mid November in north Florida with lack of recent rainfall. The two of us played in just less than 4 hrs on a Sunday. Will play again in future.
Best local course
I play CCOP fairly regularly, and it never fails to. Please. Good mixture of fun and challenge. Absolute beauty in nature and great staff.

The course has a lot of character

Challenging course with a very friendly staff.
I was trying out a new set of Irons. I used every club in my bag. You get a generous landing area on most holes. Sand traps and water seem to be placed in locations that keep you concentrating on your game
The greens are usually in pristine condition on this course but had some bad spots this week. They were still very playable as the balls rolled true. My bet is that the greens will be back to pristine condition shortly. I had a blast and I will be back.
Good
Fairways, bunkers, rough in excellent condition. Greens were spotty w/brown patches, but were fast and smooth. Somehow that doesn't seem logical, but they played well and just looked bad.
This course has great features and variety
This course has a great practice area. It is always in good shape. The holes have variety. And it is challenging for both good and fair players
Beautiful course
This was a very beautiful course, however the greens needed some more attention.
Good layout--bad conditions
The greens (all 18) were in terrible condition. There was no starter and the pro shop did not seem to be combining two somes. Therefore the pace was extremely slow.
A pleasant day on the course
The course had drained better than expected.The fairways and greens were in good condition and the pace of play was very comfortable. The only thing lacking was a beverage cart.
On par with surrounding courses
Greens are recovering from earlier aeration and topdressing. Fairways are in average shape and mowed consistently. Staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. Would play again.

Very enjoyable course to play. Only problem was pace of play. Got behind beginners, plus the course was full. I will still come back.
