Don't bother going
If you can break 100, it's not worth your time. Fairways and tee boxes are a 1/10 and greens are a 3/10. No fun holes really and just boring and unkept
WORST COURSE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA
I used to play this course as a kid and it was always kept in decent shape. It has a great layout and always has been a fun course to play. Now it looks like it has been taken over by zombies. The old pro shop is so run down that the roof looks like it is caving in. The 1st tee was so bad they moved the markers to the RED women's tee box. The fairway (if that is what you want to call it) had dirt patches and the weeds that were so high I was scared to walk through it in fear of snakes. Overall the worst course I have played in all my years as a golfer.
continues to deteriorate.
Haven't played this course in a while but it continues to deteriorate. The fairways are bare in many spots, the greens are, mostly, in terrible condition. It is a shame because this could be a really nice course with some investments from the owner.
Course conditions
The course was in good condition for the dry conditions that we have had here. Green were in good condition also
Great value
I love this course as I am a beginner. You are not rushed as you are at the big courses and so far not hooked into a foursome of grumpy men. Being a women I love to laugh and enjoy the game. I find this course does that for me. It is a little challenging and hurricane Matthew took it's toll with the trees but they are slowly cleaning it. The greens were small but in good shape. The traps were well maintained. This is my go-to place.
123 go
Apparently not cleaned up after the Hurricane. Appears to have enormous cash flow problems . Good value for the money though.
You get what you pay for
Only change in last couple of years is that there is now debris from the hurricane (4 months ago) still piled on the course.
Fairways are mainly dirt with some weeds. Rough is worse. Greens are OK at best. Tee boxes are a joke.
For $20 and hardly anyone there, it can be a viable practice course.
Course design itself is very good. Potentially beautiful with many old live oaks. Shame it is in this condition. But that's why it's only $20 and not crowded.
Tomoka Oks
The course is in poor shape. Hard to find a piece of grass to hit off of. I played it a couple years ago and thought I would give it another chance. Wrong choice. Probably will never play again.
Needs maintenance work Badly
The course is a good layout but the fairways, ruff areas and greens are very bad. There is debris from the hurricane in October still on the course. The "facilities" are old, not maintained, never updated and need work. For a practice round and a little over $1 per hole, you get what you pay for!
Bargain Course
This a good course to work on your game or for beginners at lowest cost for a par 72 you will find. A lot of dogleg lefts which is great for a lefty like me. Greens are medium sized and very smooth, ave. speed with a few bare spots but not a detriment to smooth rolling putts. Some carts are worn but we got a new one. We followed a twosome and played in 3.5 hours.
This Could Be a Great Course One Day
Sometimes that $10 hot deal really isn't much of a deal. It beats the driving range though! This course is in bad shape, but it's got so much potential. It's got a great layout, but all the greens are burnt out and slow.
sometimes it is said that you get what you pay for...no grass on fairways or tee boxes....won't return....
fun
altho the course could use some tlc the layout /staff /location and deals are perfect for what we need the sand traps after some advice from a local aren't that bad so we have fun including the hawks that keep us company on some holes we aren't serious golfers so we enjoy it
