Palatka Golf Club
About
Neighbor to the beautiful Ravine State Gardens, Palatka Golf Club offers a game that is as scenic as it is entertaining. Designed by Donald Ross in 1925, the golf course was created with all skill levels of golfers in mind. The layout is player friendly, but there are still many challenging elements to keep golfers on their toes, including Ross' signature "turtleback" greens. There are also numerous bunkers fiercely guarding the greens. The signature hole of the course is the par-3 third. This 188-yard hole is a test of accuracy, requiring a difficult tee shot to a well bunkered green. Palatka Golf Club also offers a unique aqua driving range for golfers to use.

Fun course
This is fun track to play with some challenging tee shots and smaller greens. I was surprised at how good the greens, bunkers and fairways were throughout the course. Staff was really nice!
MUST PLAY coures
Designed by Donald Ross -- brilliant even though it has changed over time like all Ross courses. All holes are a challenge and have something in store for you as a defense -- bunker guarding, yes, water, yes, trees, yes, narrow fairways, yes. Nothing unfair about it. Course hosts tournaments and hosted us too. You just must play this course -- Donald Ross calls you from the past.
Not bad if you’re in the area
Glad to check a historic Fl course off the list. Greens in good shape but very slow and not much undulation. Palatka is a hike for me, so I probably wouldn’t play here again unless in the area
Country Boy course
Do you like to play in a cow pasture? If so DON’T play here!!!! This is a good ole boy country course….they even give you range ball in a grocery sack. Classy!!! LOL BTW The staff is rude. They seem to be bothered by patrons.
Postage stamp greens, in very good condition made approach shots to be precise
undulating greens also made putting a challenge
Like the layout of the course with it's hilly fairways
Good value
Good value for the price. Small greens in good condition, rough is kind of weedy. Good target golf.
Awesome place
I have only played 8 or so courses in the area and I can say with confidence that this is the nicest course I’ve played so far. A lot of different layouts through the 18 holes and every one of the greens and fairways were in great condition.
Need a little love
The tee boxes could use some TLC. Greens in pretty good condition. Pete Dys postage style greens
Great course
Very nice course. Challenging with many greens protected by bunkers. Greens and fairways in great shape.
Nice course. Postage stamp greens. Pete Dye, you should expect. Overall in decent condition with a few exceptions.
A shame
Course was in horrible condition!!greens were terrible fairways looked like they haven't been cut an the list goes on. It looks like neglect to me..Always loved playing here but won't be back until they get it figured out.
Waste of money
The course is in poor shape. One of the worst golf courses I have played. The were air rating never told at desk and had greens in middle of fairway. DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY
OMG the greens!
Love the layout. Played it last in December and it was in good shape, but it was quite rough today.
The greens were a mess with many sand patches and they were extremely slow. Some were half sodded and we were asked not to walk on or play on the new sod. (At least they are trying).
The fairways were kind of sparse in places, and we played lift clean and place to combat that.
Traps in good shape, and it was a fun round none the less, but those greens - so many three putts with first putts stopping 5-8 feet short after blasting it. And if your ball approached the hole with just enough pace to go in, it would often veer off in the last few inches and miss.
Average Course
Greens were in rough shape. Tee boxes were not mowed very well and some were had weed coverage. Overall the course is nice to play. Challenging and straightforward at the same time.
