Do not miss out on playing this course. Greatly improved over the last 5 years. Staff has done a marvelous job with fairways and greens. Layout, has a lot of variety making for an enjoyable round. Staff is very outgoing-- Thanks for a great round of golf!!

Really enjoyed playing this course as it's the old style, with greens & tee boxes in close proximity, so you don't have to drive thru residential areas to get to the next hole. Terrific flow. Given the conditions of other courses fairways in the St. Augustine area, this was really good. If you have a pull cart, it would be an easy course to walk; had the club had pull carts as well as driving carts, we would have walked. Hope to play here at least once more before heading home.

Some change in elevation making for interesting play. Course condition generally very good except for a couple of greens that need work. Speed of greens good. Visuals during play excellent. A recommended course especially at special rates.

REALLY ENJOYED THE ROUND, THERE IS A GREAT DEAL OF CONTOUR AND THE SMALL ELEVATED GREENS ARE A CHALLENGE. BETTER BRING YOUR PUTTING AND CHIPPING GAME OR IT WILL BE A LONG DAY!!

This was my first time playing this course, but it will not be my last.....(I hope!) I live about 35 miles from this course, and I had heard others speak about it, but never took the time to drive the 35 miles and try it out. I went to GolfNow and found a great rate and decided to try it out. This course is laid out very well, and has a lot of class about it. The staff is super friendly, and this was well worth the trip.

Pleasantly surprised how green and hilly this Donald Ross designed course was. Although, the greens could have been cut lower, I felt that the experience here was well worth the drive to Palatka GC. You will not find more difficult par 3's. Go give it a try.

Course much better than last several years. Greens still very slow but consistent on each hole.

Overseeded tee to green. Greens in good shape but a little slow.
Rolly terrain, much more than your typical Florida course. Perrificial areas need some attention, a little on the ragidy side.
A good, challenging layout. Par 3's are a real test. Don't be fooled by the Back Tee yardage not even 6,000 yards, course plays longer than the yardage.

The condition of this course has improved drasticly! Andy Heartz, Paul Trettner, Brenda Stroud & Dana Anderson are the friendliest golf management team that I have encountered since my transition to Florida. An old style design with tight, sloping fairways and lots of elevation. Fantastic course to either walk or ride. No 1/2 mile distance between green & subsequent tee box. The price is unbeatable. What I consider "Country Golf at it's Best". Always a fun, fun day at Palatka Golf Course. I Love this place because they consider each patron family!!

Course is in decent shape, the small greens are a challenge

found the course to be far better then the reviews that we had read. glad we decided to try it. it was player friendly with enough chalenge to make it interesting. the course was in great shape and a pleasure to play. have played it a few times now and will defently come back next year to play again. the staff was extremly friendly and a pleasure to deal with. ? how do you get the drive range balls out of the pond.

Fairways best I have seen them in 7 years I have played here. Greens are just coming in nicely , and will be superb for the Azalea.Great staff !

Would play again because a golfer can score well here if the ball is on the fairway and you can putt fairly well on slow greens...

First time played; course was in very good condition, and provided an interesting, enjoyable afternoon of golf. Staff was helpful and friendly, carts well-maintained, and the fees very affordable. We'll definitely be back.

The course is open a little forgiving with open fairways

Staff were very friendly and willing to assist. Fairways were in good shape. A bare spot or two along side of the fairway. The solution was to stay in the fairway. Greens were in good shape. Overseeding was taking place -- lots of sand. They run fairly true. I enjoy playing the old Donald Ross courses. Many have disappeared or been reworked. I will return.
