Neighbor to the beautiful Ravine State Gardens, Palatka Golf Club offers a game that is as scenic as it is entertaining. Designed by Donald Ross in 1925, the golf course was created with all skill levels of golfers in mind. The layout is player friendly, but there are still many challenging elements to keep golfers on their toes, including Ross' signature "turtleback" greens. There are also numerous bunkers fiercely guarding the greens. The signature hole of the course is the par-3 third. This 188-yard hole is a test of accuracy, requiring a difficult tee shot to a well bunkered green. Palatka Golf Club also offers a unique aqua driving range for golfers to use.

Tight links course with rolling fairways.

The location of the tee box to the adjacent green makes it very dangerous when taking approach shots. Potential to be hit by the adjacent tee shot. Need to install barriers to prevent stray tee shots from endangering golfers in the adjacent fairways. Dangerous course particularly with beginners teei shots.

Course and golfers have survived since 1925 without barriers. This is a REAL golf course.

Good place to hit balls for cheap, but no fun to play

It's really not too much fun, fairways are ok but if you go out of the fairways it's sand, weeds, earth but no grass, Bunkers are really bad too.
