About
Palm Harbor's narrow, bending fairways are lined with towering palms, oaks and pines. Combine this with elevated greens and you have a course that demands accurate shots. The creativity in the design is the use of large bunkers. This course is more accessible for golfers of all handicaps and abilities, and easier to manage.
Play this course as a warm-up, work on your accuracy and iron play.

Starter Failures
Generally play this course while in town - Its a good value, however be aware of the 7:30a tee time. I book this time to finish in time for other responsibilities only to be passed over and told to wait. The first tee time of the day and was told I was the 3rd group out. I was asked "What the h*#l do you think youre doing?!" When I proceeded to the first tee at 7:28a with my paired up partner. That's not what I paid for. Big thumbs down on the tee management by this facility.
I did not play my round and waiting to see if I'm refunded by GN. We will see.
The course is fun, but the management of the the first tee time of the day is poor and does not make you feel like a valued customer, in place of those who receive preferred treatment. Tough situation and a bad experience. It'll be hard to return to this facility, knowing my tee time slot is not guaranteed. Note that going forward with your reservation. It's subjective at times.
It’s all good
Very playable course with greens in excellent condition compared to some near by courses. Watch out for 14 and 15 they’ can bite!
A fun course.
Truthfully, I played the course because it was close to where we were staying. But, it was a fun round. The course was in great, early in the season, condition. The layout was fair. While people behind us complained about slow pace of play, our group finished in about 3.5 hours! It may be that it helps to make an early tee time.
Great course
Very nice course played from the green tees. A couple of the tee boxes were in rough shape. But the rest of the course was in near perfect condition. Greens had some speed and rolled true.

1st group off...played 18 in 2hrs 15 minutes. Greens were outstanding.
Best Municipal course in the area.
I drive down from saint Augustine to play this course. Always well maintained and the right ratio of challenge and fun. Great for all skill sets.

I have played this course numerous times as early as 1975 over the years. Being January the course conditions was moderate since they have had cooler weather affecting the fairway grass. This course does play better under warmer conditions. I will continue to play here when in area. It is a great layout.
