About
Palm Harbor's narrow, bending fairways are lined with towering palms, oaks and pines. Combine this with elevated greens and you have a course that demands accurate shots. The creativity in the design is the use of large bunkers. This course is more accessible for golfers of all handicaps and abilities, and easier to manage.
Play this course as a warm-up, work on your accuracy and iron play.

Front nine
Had a group of three in front of us that were dead slow . At times we were stacked up 2 groups of 4 waiting for the fairways to open up. Thank the lord they were only playing 9.

This was a solid golf course. It appears I got lucky playing on a late Sunday morning on an overcast day with Football on folks' minds as the course was less crowded than normal according to the folks I was paired with. They only played 9 as they were off to watch the Giants. I would reserve a 5-star rating for a really special opportunity, so I think most courses on GolfNow are overrated. This was a decent place with solid greens, reasonable greens (although slow that day), and in general decent conditions. It is not a destination course, which in my mind is what I would rate 5 stars. If you can get the right time, and you are in this area, it's worth a try. The locals seem to flok to it, but more because it is an inexpensive option and a good bar/restaurant than membership.

Great course especially for a municipality. They take care of of it and you. Greens are slowwww but true

Course in decent shape. Greens extremely slow!!! Pace of play was good. Greens were in decent shape. Just very very very slow. Overall worth going if you just wanna get some swings in.
Best Course in Daytona and Palm Coast
Track challenging, traps loaded with soft sand, greens running 8-9, and fairways excellent shape!
Nice layout, good condition
I would give my experience a 3.5 star for this round. The course is beautiful, but maintained to a little better than average. The employees are mostly very nice. What the course lacks is a course marshal or as we call them now, ambassador.
Pace of play was awful, after 13 holes we drove around 2 groups to find the remaining 4 holes wide open, never caught another group. It would have been a 5+ hour round had we not passed up the snails.
Very nice
Except for a few tee boxes the course is starting to come back very nicely! The greens seemed to be more consistent finally! The grounds people have worked very hard to get the sand traps refurbished after 2 recent hurricanes in a month. Hopefully with the reopening of St. John’s golf course some of the pressure will come off of this one as this place sells out about everyday!
