Play here once a month, only on a deal.
Staff friendly, not attentive though, cart was dirty from morning round play. Fair layout with many good holes if they were maintained better. Members & customers don't see the need for raking bunkers and fixing ballmarks. That'sone reason I can't recommend. Really difficult to make putts of any length. The fairways are very sparse & placing the ball is your only choice.
If you go look for a cheap afternoon rate, don' t pay
full rate.
Men's group in Red Shirts on Fridays, I've been stuck behind them one day and they were playing 3 five somes. Why not 5 three some?

The greens were in excellent shape. the course is well maintained and the staff is friendly and very helpful. I will be playing here on a regular basis.

The course was a joy to play. Everything was in great condition and the greens rolled true. A very attractive course aesthetically and also just a fun course to play. Not easy, but fair. I will definitely return and have put it on my list of courses to play regularly, as it's not too far from home.

The course in good shape. Greens are just uneven. Some greens were faster than others. Some bunkers were not raked!! With my luck, the ball sat in foot print. Need some supervision to catch guys driving fairways , par 3 holes.

This is a great Arnold Palmer Design. GPS in the cart was helpful but the hole discription & lay out was limited due to the advertisements on the screen. The yardage to the green was accurate and helpful. The greens are almost fully recovered from the arification. Once they cut them tighter they will be very challenging.

As one might expect the layout is challenging but not beyond the intermediate player at all. Even from the blue tee's 14 handicapers can make pars. Personally, the white's are challenge enough! Fairways were green and manicured but greens were recently aerated and seeded so they were inconsistent and bumpy but certainly a temporary situation. As a Palmer designed course it is certainly a must play for N.Central Florida players !!

I had a "Hot Deal" so the price was great. The course plays long in some holes. Well maintain and nice layouts. I will play it again.

The course is fun and relaxing with nice rolling greens. It is a good test of your putting skills.

Your reviewing "rubric" above is not very good. There is quite a huge difference between a course being "MAINTAINED" and a course being "PRISTINE". You are doing your participating courses a dis-service by forcing us to label a course as being just "maintained" or labeling a staff as being "cordial" rather than being "super-friendly".

Nice layout, green good condition, but all fairway was spiky recently, ouf it was a hotdeal...

My wife and I enjoyed this course very much and will play again.

CHALLENGING PLAYING FOR 1ST TIME EVEN W/GPS. MORE TROUBLE THEN EXPECTED. WILL PLAY AGAIN SOON

Very chalenging layout, not unfair but requires good shotmaking. Will be a top course once things green up . Greens are large but require a little attention. Overall A+

The course was in good shape. The golf club attendent (Ray) was Great!!! This course has A very good lay out, not too hard , but will make you think and make shots.

staff was nice course could use more maintance there are some bare spots but overall not bad with no rain.

Arnold Palmer design that can be difficult for the average golfer. The cypress grass has been cut. Tree limbs that once hung over tee boxes and fairways have been cut back. Tee boxes have been moved forward. The fairways are bone dry for extensive roll. It is, therefore, currently ready for all levels of golfer. Can be expensive for locals to play the Pines Course this time of year in the AM. Enjoy it's current ease of play for it will become much more difficult during the rainny season.

Would recommend this course great value..green undulation was quite the challenge in several holes as well as false fronts . Really enjoyed it

Pretty good layout. Decent maintenance. Good pace of play in the PM. A very good value at the discounted price, but at full price there are better courses for the money in the general area.
