Solid course in the East Bay
Positives - challenging course with a couple great tee options, nice driving range (across the street), great staff
Negatives - getting a beer or something to eat is crazy difficult (and often impossible after the round), the tee boxes were pretty beat up at our last round (a couple weeks ago).
General - we always want to play here more (mostly Fridays), but can never get a tee time. Oddly, every time we do play, there are a lot of openings so people must book and not show up (and I guess the club doesn't do anything about it). We play Canyon Lake instead (around the corner but not as nice). As a guide - blue tees if you're sub-10, whites for 11-20 (believe me) and don't play here if you're over a 20 (or bring a ton of balls!)

Terrible course management
Tee time was 9:30 am but delayed from the first hole.
Waste of time and money
No marshal to try to fix the delay.

Stern Test
This course will test your ability to the fullest punish errant shots and reward good ones a real tough SOB

Overpriced Muni
So disappointing. This course used to be a gem and a favorite of mine.
Course condition has gone downhill. Terrible tee boxes. Inconsistent bunkers.splotchy fairways.slow bumpy greens.
Amenities are beautiful but the grounds are gone. If you pay over $60 your paying to much. I sure did.
Hopefully they get it b back together and I'll be back some day but probably not this year.

Go somewhere else for the money and value
Course is rough shape- may be due to the recent heat , lots of dead spots and brown areas, greens were fine.. no amenities- special event had the restaurant, snack bar all closed ( on a weekend!) no a good deal even for a golf now special , plenty of other courses in the area with playing

Play it once
Worth the experience one time.
There are so many other courses for far less money that play 1/3 faster.

Nice course
This is definitely a very challenging yet fun course. Accuracy is key here as it's very narrow and lots if slope in fairway. Beautiful surroundings and good conditions.
