The Bridges Golf Club

This course is beautiful to look at but once you get out it’s a beast. Unfortunately due to the weather it is very wet, that being said the greens are in immaculate condition and roll great. If sloped fairways and undulating greens are what you like this is the course for you.

Beautiful layout and very good condition considering the rain. But be prepared - it is very tough, with a lot of hazards, good chance of steep side hill lies even when on the fairway, and huge, slick, steeply undulating greens.

Truthfully too tough for me to really enjoy it.

A beautiful area, a very well maintained course. But an absolute dumpster fire design, I haven't met one golfer who has had a positive opinion of the design of this course. Excessively difficult and not rewarding of good shots. Just like Stonetree in Novato, Johnny Miller took a great area and a great group of greenskeepers and gave them nothing to work with. Really hard to have fun here, which is sad because with a better design it could have been a gem.

I really like Bridges and find it to be a hidden gem, but you can't go into thinking you will beat it up.

The course is all about position and also the blind shots at times can be very mean, but what I enjoyed most was the different groupings of holes and layout, the final stretch as well the first five holes are great. A lot of risk-reward shots that make for a fun time.

The biggest issue I see with this course is you have to be able to make contact and carry the ball since a lot of holes have forced carries, and it just wouldn't be fun if you can move the ball around.

I really enjoy this one.

4.5 hr round. Course is soft from all the rain but in good condition. Rough is thick and lush! Friendly staff.

A terrific course, but hard to play. Narrow fairways, blind shots, and sloping greens. Super fun time. Will play again.

This may be the most challemging, but the best course I’ve ever played. By far the best value of any course I’ve played. I got paired with a group of locals and it was a very enjoyable round. Yes the rough is long, the fairways are tighter than anything I’ve experienced and there are a lot of carries to greens, but wow was this a fun round. I’m sure I’ll score better next time haha.

I've played the course before, but it appeared in worse shape than prior years. The greens were REALLY slow after being punched a few weeks prior, and I think in general some of the greens and many of the paths etc. have settled (not in a good way) in the past few years.

It will take some doing to get me back here unless I hear it has significantly improved.

We hadn't played Bridges in a few years and saw a great deal on Golf Now. While the course is challenging it's still a lot of fun. Yes, playing the course a few times and local knowledge will help play it better, they have done a lot to keep it fair. It's in good condition and we played in under 4 hours.

Challenging course layout, lots of different lie angles. Greens are tricky breaks down the hill even though it looks like it will break left. 18th hole tempting to go for it, layup best option.

Beautiful course, fairways, greens all in great shape. Course is challenging but yet playable for any level of golf. Had a great time and will return to play more golf.

This course takes all the fun out of golf. Probably 90% of the course is rough. The short grass is rare. The rough is extremely punitive. There is no gradation in the rough, you’re either in the short grass or your dead in the rough. I typically don’t spray the ball around and I am usually in the fairway at most courses. The greens are over watered to the point of being ridiculous. It amazes me that this course gets such great reviews. There are many courses in the Eastbay that are vastly superior to this

course. Really the only thing good about this course is the pace of play. There aren’t that many people that want to experience this mess. There is a green on the back nine that is so large it is beyond ludicrous.

Course is too tight and rough is too long if you’re not a straight, consistent hitter. If you finish with the same ball you started with it’s an achievement! Course in great condition, albeit a little overwatered in places today. Greens are quick and pin positions are challenging. Good layout. I paid $44 today which I consider great value.

This golf course are great the greens are fast the paced of players are also perfect. No one rushing you. No one yelling. Costumer service a great. The only thing that I DON'T like is my game. I cannot believe it? I got Beautiful course and I play so bad.

Was recommended this course by a friend at work and I’m thankful. Awesome experience in its entirety. Was fortunate to get a good HOT DEAL. Greens were in great shape. Well placed tee boxes that allow you to get creative. If I had friends or family in town this is where I’d take them. Beautiful clubhouse as well. A+

Cant wait to get back out there.

Buddy and I finished in 3.5 hrs. Condition were great. Staff was very friendly.
