Flamingo Lakes Country Club
About
Flamingo Lakes Country Club in Pembroke Pines is one of the area's best-kept secrets. The layout is challenging but it is also very forgiving, making it accessible for players of any skill level. The course differs from other golf courses in the area due to its hilly terrain. Elevation changes are not common occurrences on Florida golf courses but you'll find several tricky uneven lies on this one. It also stands out for its superb conditions. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole, presenting some interesting risk-reward opportunities. There are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout requires thought and strategy in order to score well. Flamingo Lakes isn't long, instead it provides a quick and challenging round that can be played in less than four hours.

Good course nice, rained the day before but was still in good shape
Felt like the cart path and fairways were just land mines already exploded
I have a slight sore ribs and slight hip muscle pain, so all the bumps throughout the entire fairways and cart paths didn't feel good. I thought I was on the lands of World War I and II. The carts were also old gas carts which in some ways was good because they didn't go too fast. But forget about having an open drink in your cart. Half way down the hole it would have all poured out.
The course was one of the more narrow courses I have played in FL, which is a good thing, more of a challenge, as the distance of the course is not long, even from the blues.
Extrass
The only course so far in south Fl asking extra money for COVID-19, it should be included in the initial Price!
Everything was ok for the price, really not bad overall
Nice layout for some holes , play in less of four hour. Good price for that golf course
Good Course
We had lots of Fun Playing Flamingo Lakes .looking forward to playing there again
Needs A Little Care
There were several greens that needs attention, some had large brown (fish like) scales and others were just missing grass in some spots. Some fairways were in need of maintenance also, both may be the result of several tropical storms over weeks of heavy rain and flooding within the county.
Started NOT professional pr friendly
The course is in great shape considering all the rain we've had in South Florida lately. A few holes were roped off for cartpath only.
The middle-aged male starter is just unprofessional and rude. He attempts to force customers to bring their bag up to him. When you have to pass the parkinglot and your bag to get to the first tee. He is rude every time I play here.
Also they are not properly cleaning the carts. Bring your own wipes to clean your cart.
love the course
today still a little wet but still playable had a nice day
Rude welcome
Please don''t ignore; read in its entirety.
I began using golfno in 2004, not using during 3 years+ when I was a volunteer ranger at Emerald Hills. No salary but played 3X/week free. Furloughed due to Covid19, so returned to you for the last 9 months and happy with the results. Booked Flamingo Lakes for today thru you, and with my rewards was charged only $3. When I arrived at Flamingo an hour before my tee time the guy at the window asked for the full price of $28.75. We argued and he advised me to call you. I explained it's not possible to speak to anyone at golfnow, only recording. I did not play and I was very disappointed with the rudeness of the guy as I have been playing there every week for the last 6 months. Please arrange for me to speak to someone at golfnow. Thank you
The lay out of the course was nice.
The course was very wet and very difficult to get through lost a lot of balls do to plugging and a lot of standing water it made it hard to hit out of and also too retrieve the ball.
Not in the best shape
Greens are very patchy and need some attention. Course after heavy rainfall over the last weekend was in okay condition, rough should be cut down a bit
Course and greens are in bad shape.
Very wet and windy. Service unfriendly and extra $4 charge to clean cards.
Would not play there again. So sorry used to be a great course and reasonable priced.
Was not able to play
This golf course is closed, I made reservations, but when I got to the course 20 minutes early for my tee time at 3:19 found out that the course is closed, and there was no signs or anyone to attend golfers, the doors were locked.
Rain, rain, rain
Unfortunately, my last 3 rounds at Flamingo Lakes have been rained out. Hopefully, I'll get to play on Thursday!
