About
Marcus Pointe Golf Club tumbles across 600 acres of rolling woodlands, which is a rare occurrence in the mostly flat Panhandle area. The back nine is where golfers really begin to notice the dramatic undulations. Earl Stone, who has designed several Gulf Coast golf courses, created the layout. He has built his reputation on building playable and affordable courses. While water may not come into play often, golfers will still be kept on their toes by the numerous sand bunkers and an abundance of trees and of course, the tricky angles and elevation changes throughout. The golf course is challenging but fair with a playability that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The greens are well manicured and keep all abilities in mind. Four sets of tees make Marcus Pointe Golf Club even more accessible.

Best course in northwest fl
This is my favorite course.
The variety of each hole makes the course interesting even if you play it frequently The staff is friendly and helpful and the course layout is great.

Always a good choice when considering where to play golf in Pensacola
First time play
The course is in good shape. Some of the roughs had alot of grass trimmings left over from the mower. The greens were in great shape. We played on Saturday, and play was extremely slow 4 hours for 16 holes. We had to leave due to lightning. But will play again, during the week.
Pretty bad
Course was in horrible condition, weeds all over the fairway. You hit a nice shot in the fairway but your still on a sand/dirt patch or on weeds. The layout of the course is not bad but one of the worse courses in the area
Descent Value
Good layout. Course is a little tired with inconsistent greens. Some greens sanded, and some were fury. Overall, the greens were really slow. However, I paid $21 Golfnow deal and for the money It’s a really good value . Especially if you just want to get out and play.

First time
Course was ok. I’d play other courses in the area before this one. However I enjoyed the course. I’d play again.
Rainout
Only got in 6 holes before deluge of rain fell. Was having good time on course. Some fairways had bare spots so disappointed in that but overall value for the money was good. Did not want to continue round as took awhile for rain to let up and no cart paths would make driving on fairways sloppy. Overall good value course but could use some upkeep .
Good value
Course was in good shape except some of the fairways and teeboxes.

Would have a membership here if I lived in Pensacola! Love this course!
Crap Front Office Staff and Customer Service
Raise your hand if you were ever chastised by a Mommy Dearest wannabe for showing up an hour before tee time and inquiring if we could have a cart to pick up our clubs from our car. Then ridicule the request we made to a group of member right in front of us. If it hadn’t been a hot deal, and I wouldn’t have been out the money for the round. I’d have walked away and not played.
