Marcus Pointe Golf Club
About
Marcus Pointe Golf Club tumbles across 600 acres of rolling woodlands, which is a rare occurrence in the mostly flat Panhandle area. The back nine is where golfers really begin to notice the dramatic undulations. Earl Stone, who has designed several Gulf Coast golf courses, created the layout. He has built his reputation on building playable and affordable courses. While water may not come into play often, golfers will still be kept on their toes by the numerous sand bunkers and an abundance of trees and of course, the tricky angles and elevation changes throughout. The golf course is challenging but fair with a playability that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. The greens are well manicured and keep all abilities in mind. Four sets of tees make Marcus Pointe Golf Club even more accessible.

Plugs and holes
Booked a round on GolfNow. Nobody in the proshop mentioned that they were aerating the entire course fairways so therevwas no place to put a ball down on grass on the entire course. Worst of all they were running the equipment while there were players on the course and did not stop when players were on the tee box this happened to my party on 17 and 18.
When i talked to the pro staff they offered a replay.. not much chance to do that when you live 8 and 20 hours away. First time i have ever seen a course actively plowing up a fairway while paying golfers were trying to play. Really really disapointed with this course lack of respect for its guests.
Nice course
A very enjoyable round of golf was had by our foursome. Course coming out of winter very well.
Marcus Point
Course is well.laid out and challenging enough for all levels.
Of c course it is winter and the Bermuda fairways were a little beat down, but the greens were in great shape.
They have a lot of slopes and some challenging pin locations.
This was my third time playing there and always while on winter vacation in the area.
Will g o back and play again.
Great Staff
Course in good condition for weather we have been having.
Staff very accommodating and helpful.
Great hot dogs .
Marcus Pointe makes a comeback
I am a Canadian snowbird coming to the panhandle for the last 10 years, and Marcus was awesome the first 2 years then went into a period of decline over 4-5 years and became terrible to play then after being purchased a few years back new owners are bring this course back to it's glory,, Well worth the price, great layout and can be as tough as you like if you take the tips or even blues..and in season I play 4 days a week when in Florida only 3 days a week
Not freindly
Clubhouse staff not too freindly , course set up too tough for freindly game ,greens are too fast and not freindly at all
Great Course, very challenging!!
Very tough greens. Staff was phenomenal as always.
Good course
Helpfull and friendly staff. Good course with some risk reward shot opportunities. Would play again.
New Favorite
Friendly staff. The cart girl came by four times during our round. Greens were fast and challenging.
Good Course
Played as I traveled through town. Chose the course based on location. Nice area, well kept course, challenging greens. Will play again!
Not Worth The Money
Conditions at the course are poor, with the greens containing a crabgrass that made putting impossible. The course just simply isn't worth the time or money as it is in poor condition. The greens are the most important part of a golf course, and when you can't get a good line on your putts due to weeds that will change its line, you know it's time to find another course.
Good maniciple quality course
Played using a GN “hot deal” on a Monday. Few other players. Corse had some bare spots but no significant effect on the play. Excellent course layout. Challenging but fare. Would need to play more than once to play well. Would play again. Did not use the club house.
