Golfer Reviews
Consistent Greens
This course has enough challenges for your swing with greens that roll true.
Maple leaf golf review
Nice course with firm fast greens and nice pace of play price was also excellent on golf now
Course conditions
Greens are fairly Fast. Fairways in Good shape as the TBoxes are. Some long Par3 but the course is a challenge. Worth the money right now to play. lol
Will play again
nice course, short but just the right amount of challanges
Hidden Gem
Enjoyed the course very much. If it were closer to where I live in Fort Myers Beach I would play it every week. The only thing I'd change is keeping the restaurant open later than 3:00.
Great Executive length course
Fun course to play, in very good condition with challenges on every hole!! The staff are all very friendly and make sure you feel at home.
Friendly starter with lots of helpfull tips before our round
Overall condition was excellent. Even the partially sanded front nine greens still allowed great putting. Fast back nine greens and suttle breaks made them tough. Longer than most exec courses but thats what made it more fun to play.
Highly recommend
Course is in excellent shape. Arguably the best "short course" in the area. Greens roll true. Staff is very accommodating. Fairly priced in a area where golf prices are way overpriced
Executive Course
Executive course that was ok. All the courses down here are in tough shape given drought but this one was actually better than others. Greens are slick, hard and fast… but at least they are not burned out. However trying to stick a shot from 100 out is dicey as the ball will ping pong off. I would play this course on a Hot Deal but wouldn’t pay more than $40-50.
Cant go wrong.
I have played Mapleleaf on and off for two decades. Since the renovation a few years back, they consistently have some of the best greens in the area. Although it’s a par 62 course it’s still offers enough challenge that it’s just not quite a pushover.
It is an especially a good option given that since the pandemic six years ago, all the golf courses have went for the gold $, with their fees and rates.
I play a lot of courses between Lee, Charlotte, Sarasota, and Manatee counties. The greens are always consistently rolling very nice and have enough break in them that they will bite you if you don’t pay attention.
A lot of people complain that it’s only a par 62 but for the price, it is a real deal and you’re playing on greens that consistently run 9.5-10.5 on the stimp.
