Port Charlotte GC round 2
Challenging layout, open mostly, length and water offer the challenge.
2nd round played. Tees are back in use after being sodded. Fairways dry, hard for the most part. Some low lying locations are very wet/spongy. We got off late after a very large group was also delayed. Slow at first, stretched out into back nine. Pace overall was good. Course management necessary.

Disappointed
Sometime had to move the ball 3 to 4 feet to find anything other than dirt or mud. Would NOT go back for $45.

If you find a cheap coupon, ok, never pay full amount
The course is in very bad shape. Hitting the fairway doesn't mean you are hitting off of grass. More bare spots, lots of dirt, and rocks in the bunkers. I would not return here.

The fairways were a rough and dry the tee boxes and greens were in better shape overall had a great day

I have played here before. The course is better than last year. Improved tee boxes. Fairways still need some work

Ordinary
The course generally was pretty worn out, maybe carts are allowed too many places. Tees were temporary and on uneven ground.
Excellent course for all levels.
Can’t wait for the fairways to be fixed! Looking forward to playing here again soon.

Fairways need some grass. Played lift, Clean, and place.

Grass please
The course has a good layout, now all they need is grass. They have replanted their tee boxes but the fairways are bare.

Course conditions
I have played Port Charlotte probably 100 times. I have never seen in this poor condition.

Great course for all skill levels. Will be fantastic once all the rennos are done (course maintenance). Now under new ownership. Looking forward to coming back.

fareway's ,grass & green's were poor i even gave away a free round i had bought

Course was not in good shape...fairways had some grass...to many other courses around that are in better shape for the price.

Course is certainly not what it used to be. But - the great rate on GolfNow coupled with the friendly staff makes it worth it.

Fun course
My husband had played it but I never had. I liked it. Course layout was great. Fairways and green just ok but we didn’t pay $80 either I’d go back for sure.
