needs water
have played here occasionally over the years and like the layout. Pro shop attendant was very congenial, starter not so much. course suffering from the lack of water, haven't had much rain in many days, would help I'm sure. while the greens didn't look pretty, they did putt true and very fast. They are hard but a well struck short-to-medium iron will hold fairly well, best to play a little "links style" golf.
fairways had little to no grass. conditions need to improve significantly before I'll be back at any price.
Bad, real bad
I can review this course in 2 words: GOAT RANCH. This is without question the worst course I’ve ever played, no grass on the tees, no grass on the fairways, and the greens I don’t even know how they can call those things greens. Waste of time and money. Don’t play here.

Beautiful picture
This course would be top notch if it had any grass. The gorgeous green grass in the picture is amazing

Ok... I can't recommend this course in its current condition. I have no reason to come back to play this course. Greens were the worst I have played on ever. Fairways were so dry there were sandy areas my ball landed in. 85* out there in a Sunday afternoon.. didn't see any water coolers on front nine. no beverage cart person out there. Back nine ..came upon one water cooler station.. empty. No water.. I had heard good things about course somewhere. Now I know it must have been another course.. played on 3-15-2020. On to another course..

Bad
No grass from tee to green. Drinking water jugs empty on course at 3:00 pm greens have ant hills on them!

Terrible
This is the third time I have played this course in the past 10 years...it really sucks.
The course is in terrible condition.
Rocket fast greens, hard like rock.
I will never play this course again.

The course
I played with two locals who navigated me around the course we had great conversations and really enjoyed our round of golf!!
Going down hill
Played this course a month ago and it was in pristine condition. They are loosing their fairways and some of their greens. Not ideal conditions

pathetic golfcourse
This course is absolutely pathetic it is worse than a cow pasture so bad that I don’t know if a cow could find any food out there if he was grazing. The greens are horrific and it’s hard-pressed to find grass on that green rather than brown and some disease.
Whoever owns this golf course or just bought it obviously doesn’t know zero about golf they get the people in there granted only because it’s cheap and even a cheap one is overpaying.

I should have read the reviews more carefully
The course was a disappointment. The conditions were at best fair. The greens were inconsistent.
I would not go back again.

Windy day
Didn’t play well I’ll blame some on wind and the rest on me. Coarse could use some water

Got golf passes for $19 each on "Local Flavor"
Truly a $19 golf course.
Fairways were different, greens were special, tee boxes were challenging...putting green was difficult to read.
Carts were great and the cart paths were nice.
A lot of fake sand traps in many of the fairways.
For $19 it will bring a tear to your eye.
The bar was locked at the end of our round...we were unable to have a beer and review our shots.
If you pay more than $19 to play, you probably will find the course is not in the best of shape

Pleasant Surprise
I had read some bad reviews and was not expecting the nice golf course I played today. I understand that the new owner is making a lot of improvements. I will certainly return to play it again..
Hot in February
Just got down here Saturday the15th left pa and the temperature was 0.. a little change in temperature at 87. Course in nice shape love the long par 4s and par 5s. Pace of play was very good for this time of year.its a good old coarse and will play it again soon
slightly chaotic and confusing management of the teetimes
no carts had been available,
tee times had been overbooked and people with teetimes later than we got the okay to start upfront, the staff was unable to cope with the rush
the pace was bad ,

Okay course for the discounted price
This course needs some attention to the tees, and fairways very hard, dry, and sandy soil.in many areas. The greens were in fair condition and many holes had leaves or tree debris along the fairways. The place needs some care, the value for a round was fair considering the condition of the course. The staff were very friendly and efficient!
