Slow play, bad traps
Played 9 holes in 3 hours, quit on 13 after having 3 groups backed up on a par 3. No Ranger to keep things moving. Course was way overbooked trying to make money. Conditions of course are average. Good Greens, but bad traps filled with rocks and shells.
Nice course
Pace was good. Course is challenging but not too much so for the average golfer. Plenty of sand and water. Fairways are wide enough to be forgiving. Beautiful course!
Course needs a little work.
This was the first time that we played this course. The tee boxes definitely need some TLC. We paid $29 for 18 holes with cart and we wouldn't pay any more than that. We did enjoy our round, but not sure if we will return. Staff was very friendly.
Nice course overall
The course was enjoyable to play. A few of the greens are a little rough. Not bad if you get the right time and price.
Great course
I always enjoy my rounds of golf at Port Charlotte Golf Club. Weather it be in the middle of the summer and/or winter.
Back again...
Played again here after a couple of years. The course is in good condition. Well maintained.
Any HCP level player will be love it. There's no rough at all. A few water hazards and a couple of nasty bunkers. I sure come back again.
You get what you pay for.....
Public course vibe, avoid if busy, wide open, good confidence booster for your game as little trouble
Enjoyable
This was my first time golfing at Port Charlotte GC. The wide fairways and minimal hazards made the day fun for a high handicap senior. The course provided a nice variety in hole layouts. This is definitely a course to play and I will be back.
Great course
Greens very fast. Fairways in great shape. Only negative was pace of play. In Florida during winter everywhere is slow

Wide open!
Always fun here! Fairways in good shape but greens don't hold & tough to land & stick you shot! Hard to hit in front and roll up as lots of greens are elevated & some real wet areas in front of certain holes!
Great value for $$..... nice people too!
bang for the buck
not too much to say , it was a "hot deal" and at 10 bucks ...14 w/ tax ...it was fine ...5 bucks for a bag of balls was o k, despite being of the mindset they should always be free if you are playing ....so get a hot deal fine ! in season 25.00 is likely o k ...but do not go out of your way
