Very nice, well groomed, and reasonably challenging to the average golfer.
Great place to play. Will now be my "Home" course. All around great place to play!
Great Course
We really enjoy playing this course. It is challenging yet playable as I have only been playing golf for a little over a year. Ladies tees are in great shape. The staff is helpful and friendly.

I found this course difficult to play the first time. I believe it is a fair course and one I can learn to play better. I look forward to my next round here.
Great features and fast greens.
Great features and really fast greens. Friendly staff, lots of water.
This course is good for a pleasant morning of golf.
Considering we have had an enormous amount of rain which has caused cart path only for many courses, this one drained well enough that we could play all but one hole driving our carts to the ball. The rough needed to be cut but the weather had prevented that. Overall we were able to play here, which we couldn't do at many courses nearby.
The course is in excellent condition.
The greens are excellent, they are fast but read and roll true. Good mix of water and sand throughout the course.
good public course
Good layout with some interesting holes. Pay attention or use the map if its your first time playing. Definitely worth playing a few times
very forgiving
Played this course both 8/11/13 & 8/12/13 for the first time off season typically play this course a lot in a league from October to April. great value, friendly and fast. at this time of year all courses have issues with their greens aeration etc. but overall great condition. I enjoy the fast Green they typically have during season still a great forgiving course

Don't let this course fool you. If you cant read a Green and control your speed your in trouble.

Played on a warm summer day after the greens had been sanded.
The Teeing areas were perfectly maintained, fairways beautiful, and greens were built with dips, sloped and rolling in places - very level but the sand dressing made putting an 'event'.
Typical of summer golf in Florida, the course was relatively empty due to the heat and humidity, but a perfect time to work your game and try 'what ifs' on some shots; no one behind to consider, just play 'your' games.
I highly recommend this course, especially when you can book thru golfnow.com and get the super great rates available at this time of year. I don 't believe I've ever seen Port Charlotte Golf available during the Season from November thru April as membership and visitors use the Tee times available with no discount.

the greens were dressed if i was aware would not have booked there
Special was ok, but I could get better value for my money.
Course is ok. I would play it again if the price comes down.
Fast greens.
With all the rain we,ve had course was in good shape. Open course good for people who spray the ball. Have four tee,s take your pick.. Low handey cap to high can have a good time. Enjoy the game.
