WE like the course and from the blue tees is challenging . The big problem we see is that they need a marshall to speed up play . It took over 4 hrs. to play a course that we have played in just over 3 hrs..

The only ice available is at the bar and the bartender was very reluctant to provide it. She had to clear dishes and throw away trash and was too busy to help me and I told her I was on the turn and just needed ice. She said she'd get it when she had time. I had to leave without it because I didn't have time to wait. Most courses have ice machines or ice chests that are self service. This course needs to consider this. We won't be back.

Good for practicing your short game....some greens in better condition than others. Good value for money.

It has been 2 years since we last played this course and, back then, the pace of play was very slow with frequent back ups and ineffective marshals. This year was much improved probably due to the employment of a starter who enforced proper start times to avoid congestion later in the round. So we had a smooth round with no waiting, good pace making for an enjoyable round of golf. Course is in good shape with some challenging holes, albeit short, and the contours on the greens will test your putting skills. Great value for money to work on your short game.

Course was in very good shape. Great course to tune up your short game and a few shorter Par 4s.

We had 2 foursomes, wives were in front keeping up with the group ahead. The pace of play was quite slow. The group of 4 husbands who are 18 handicaps and under enjoyed the course despite the slow play. I even had the first hole-in-one of my life on the 14th hole. A thrill I will always remember at Kings Gate.

Like the course, but play too slow to finish round.

Its a fine course if all you want is par 3s and practice with your short game.

This course has 3 major issues.

1. The homes are dangerously close to the field of play, a minor mishit could strike a home.

2. It is way overbooked, T times are every 7 minutes. We had a 2:15 time and had to quit after 14 holes due to darkness.

3. The hole locations are in impossible locations which prolongs play due to excessive putting. It is my opinion this is done to justify stretching the par to 60 which is ridiculous #10 from the whites is about a 170 yard par 4.

It's difficult to find a nice course at a reasonable fee this time of the year, but this is one. We play here in the winter most every year and we're never disappointed. The staff is friendly, other players seem courteous and the course is in fine condition. We recommend it.

Well designed course, short yardage but challenging with narrow fairways, abundance of water and fast greens.

Very friendly staff but the course was very tight with houses and lots of water on almost every hole. Target golf for sure.
