Kings Gate Golf Club

Very windy day so we lost a lot of yardage and golf balls. Fairways were very nice but greens need a lot more care and water. They were very fast, hard, and spotty. Overall still a wonderful day to play golf, score isn't really the issue its the fun of playing and having some wonderful shots!

Given the fact that there is a severe shortage of rain and drought conditions exist, most of the greens have serious problems. Many of the greens have patches of turf being placed down where grasses have died away. The poor condition of the greens were not expected, and course was allowing 5 and 6 players in a group ( most likely because there is no ranger roaming the course ). Conditions do not warrant the current green fees regardless of the peak season.

Played it and was pleased. Greens roll true and were in good shape. Nice facility. Pleasant atmosphere and helpful staff. Very affordable and a great opportunity to work on short game.

Course is nice as a par 3 offering. However don't expect anyone from the course to come by and improve slow play. Have experienced 3 deep back up's on the course over having played the course 6 times. Amazing how a twosome can back things up so bad. Maybe whoever that is needs to consider a new hobby. The only staff ever seen is the one emptying the trash or washing the carts at the barn.

This course is quite challenging as the fairways are narrow and there is a lot of water. It is in good condition and well maintained. However, the pace of play is SLOW. At the 6th Tee, when we arrived there was two 4somes and one 2some ahead of us. Within 5 minutes, 2 other 2somes caught up. We sat for 30 minutes. This not only disrupts the flow of your game but is a waste of time. I know this is "In Season," but I found the delay a bit much.

Course was in very good shape, some greens need some work but rough and fairways were all well kept. Always enjoy playing here but the last two rounds had a lot of waiting for extra slow players. Also don't understand why pricing changes so much so quickly!

Extremely nice executive course. Very well maintained, excellent turf.

We had a foursome in front of us,who were playing from the blue tees,sometimes they did not make it pass the ladies tee.Very frustrating we waited on every hole.They need to manage the course better.

The course was in very good condition, except sand traps were not in good shape. Traps were solid not sandy.
