course was in good shape but our tee time was at 7:40 and starter sent us out late right in middle of mens tournament then more of mens tourney kept coming and just cutting in front of us starter would do nothing when asked got really slow and no marshalls just kind of put day off in a bad way not an enjoyable round people I was put with kept wanting to skip holes but I came to play all 18 should not ever have to skip holes because course wont do something about very slow play
When in Port St. Lucie
When ever I am in Port St. Lucie I will try to Play Club Med Sandpiper Bay
Much Improved
Last played this course 5 months ago. I was very impressed with the improvements of the course .The fairways and greens are the best I have ever seen and cart path improved in areas where it was needed. I will definitely be playing here again soon.
Cearnach
Course was in good shape. I've played 3 other courses while here visiting and found this course to be in the best shape of all.
Very personable staff
First time playing sandpiper. Good experience. One member of our foursome had played here before and said course is in the best condition it's been in years.
Nice Florida Course
Course was in very good condition, plush and green. The signage from the parking lot to the Pro Shop are non existent. We had to ask how to get there but it was okay. Course is in great shape considering the lack of rainfall this winter. All the lakes are very low due to irrigating but didn't effect play. Pretty straight forward play and you can see most of the greens from the tee box. Played from the Green Tees (tips) which added some challenging tee shots. Wife played from Red Tees which gave her a 70-100 yard advantage on every hole. Greens rolled nicely and true. It appears no one repairs their ball marks. I fixed 2-3 on every green just to have a playable putt. I'm guessing it was that way because we played with the hackers in the afternoon. All in all this was a good deal on Golf Now and the next time we are in the area we will try to score another Golf Now deal at this course.
Greatly improved
I last played this course a little over a year ago.As I remember the greens were a little shabby & the fairways just O.K.The course has been vastly improved. The greens were all in great shape, the fairways just mowed & the course looks like a very different one from last year. From the time the gentleman loaded our clubs to the time we left we were quite impressed. We played the course in about three and a half hours.
Need better signage
There was no snack bar or refreshment cart which I automatically expected there would be at a golf course at Club Med.
Nice Day of Golf
We had a beautiful windy day. The course conditions were good and the layout was good as well. Not super challenging but good play. Will return for another round.
Staff issues
The desk clerks have never been cordial and we have played this course many times. Desk staff needs to be trained to deal with the public in a more friendly manner.
Starters are very happy to see golfers and friendly.
It would be helpful to have better signage to indicate the location of the snack bar.
Several groups let us play through and that was much appreciated.
Good round
Greens are now in very good conditions. Many improvements are on progress, like new concreted paths, schurbs and trees cleaning, nice and new tee box marks.
The only thing that I did not like was they allow five people to play at a time . The game can get slow
