I played late in the afternoon and did not have anyone in front of me the whole time. Some challenging holes, course was in good shape.
Very happy with this course, the people that work here are very friendly. I will continue to play this course and use there facility
I am very happy with golfnow. The prices and teetimes from the hot deals on golf now allows me the chance to learn and play the game of golf. I made 10 tee times through golf now and enjoy everyone of them. Thanks Golfnow. Now I get to play golf a few times a week.
Nice open course
Course is mostly open. No real stand out signature holes, but good collection of risk reward choices.
Disappointment
A bag boy met us at the bag drop but didn't greet us at all. He just put The bags on the cart and drove off without telling us where the pro shop was or where to go. After parking the car and walking around we found the pro shop. My wife picked out a shirt that was marked 2 for $30 and was charged $40for the shirt. After complaining the clerk explained that one shirt was $40 but if you bought two they were 2 for $30. They only had one style and color but she bought another to save $10.00.
After walking around looking for the cart with our clubs I asked the cart guy if there was a starter and he said no. I then asked how you get to the range and he said " you walk". There were kids all over the place and one of them picked up my club on the range and started to hit a ball with it. I explained that the club was mine and he couldn't use it. There were people dressed in jeans, tee shirts and running outfits on the range and no one seemed to understand golf etiquette.
For a resort golf course the conditions were terrible, bald areas on the tee boxes and the greens. The greens had not been cut that morning and they rolled wry inconsistently. Of the four courses that we played in the three weeks in Port St. Lucie the Sandpiper course was by far the worst. The best course conditions and staff was at theThe Saints which is a muni.
Good Value
Good rate for the busiest time of the year. Course was in pretty good shape. Pace was good.
Poor conditions in the Prime Golfing Times
I hadn't played this course since last summer, but the rates were reasonable so we gave it a go. The overall condition to the course was very disapointing. The tee boxes were extremely dry and most were not level. I will say however the greens were in very good condition and were challenging. Most courses in the Port St Lucie area are full this time of year, but even with the discounted rate, we were almost alone on the course. The word is out. I am not going back anytime soon.
Wonderful day
very enjoyable...much improved from last year...NOT overbooked !!! Good starters could use rangers.
Greens are in excelent shape
The proshop was difficult to find from the parking lot no signs to direct you. Course was in average condition with worn tee blocks, the greens though were fantastic. Would not play without a discount.
Very open & fair
Great job in improving course. Excellent condition
Greens in great condition
A good value for this thime of year if you dont mind it taking a little longer.
Good bang for buck
the course is in fair shape.enjoyed playing there and will be back.
Increase maintenance
Good greens ,bad fairways and tee boxes ,no starters pace of play reasonable
Poor course conditions
Have played this course a number of years ago and it was decent. Play last week was fast but only due to cold weather and poor course conditions. This course was inexpensive to play for this time of year but it came at a cost. Would have rather paid twice the amount at a better course. If you are a beginner and want to play cheap then this would be a good choice otherwise pay more and go to a decent course. There are plenty around.
Greens decent, but fairways thin
Teed off at 9:08. Pace was slow on the front, but picked up on the back - around 4:15.
Sunny, but very windy
Greens were hard, but fairly fast and putted true
Fairway grass was mostly brown and very thin - had to roll around to find a fair and decent lie.
reasonable for the $
Golf now gave me a great discount so can't complain- reg. price was too high for this track!!!!!!!
go play
bang bang bang for your bucks
hit plenty practice balls
Carswell
Average course with great staff. Good pace of play for busy season.
