Summerfield Crossings Golf Club
About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Over seed looking good Photo submitted by maydaytourney on 12/21/2017
Greens were fast. Tee boxes were in good shape. A few spots here and there needed some work, but a good day overall.
Awesome
The course was in excellent condition. This was the first time playing it and it was a fun course to play. I would go back.
Enjoyable course that’s forgiving
The course is very forgiving with being open through wide roughs and large fairways. Greens run surprisingly fast.
Pace of play
Love this course but the play of play is the worst!!! On 5th hole there were 3 groups waiting and 2 groups between the fairway and the green😔😔😔
Conditions
Even though there has been a lack of rain in Florida, the greens still need water. They were punched, sanded, but has zero grass to putt on. The tee boxes were over seeded and the tees disappeared once set in the ground making it difficult to judge the depth or height of each tee shot. The practice facility looks good but more than likely gets most of the attention and revenue which is noticeable once out on the course. Could have such great potential but if you don’t grab a hot deal or discount price for a round then it is too expensive for what you get just imo
Good course
Course was in good shape from tee to greens despite a rainy day, Practice area is 1st class with a great chipping area, a practice bunker and 250+ yard range.
Golf Course Status not revealed
While it was wide open when we showed up the front desk did not tell us that the fairways of the first 4 or 5 holes were all dug up and under refertilization.. It would have been nice to h ave know that before I booked the tee time.......Overall rating is based on the fact that they did not advise Golfnow of refertilization.....
2 hours and 40 minutes for the first 9-holes. Over 2-1/2 hours on back 9. 7 minute tee times, unacceptable. Standard is 11. We waited at each tee box and throughout the fairways.
Asked for a raincheck for the back 9 holes and was informed they could not issue it since it was booked on Golf Now.
What a miserable round of golf!!!
Perfect pace of play
Best pace finally! Before our foursome began, the ranger requested know one tee off until the green has cleared regardless if you can't hit it close to other group. This changed the pace of play perfectly.
Thank you for paying attention.
Great value for your money
You can’t beat the layout, and overall conditions, for the money. Greens were fast, with some minor imperfections. Layout is challenging, From any Tee box.
We’ll definitely go back there again
Slow. Slow Slow
It should never take 3hrs to play nine holes. I quit after 15 and another hour and a half. The greens keeper must have had a bad night cause the pin placement on 14 was on a side of a slope. Greens were fast and spotty in places. I did like the layout as it was very playable. I may try it again but never on a Saturday. Need a Marshall.
