Summerfield Crossings Golf Club
About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Wild West
Sunday 10:50 time, wasn't signed a cart upon check-in, no problem since I was a single. Arrived at the 1st tee with my bag at 10:30 to try to find out who i was riding with/starter. There were 8-10 carts deep with 4 carts on the tee box. Guy starting said he already thought i was out (20 min early). Got paired, tee'd off 30 min after my tee time at 11:20. We waited on every hole and finished in a little over 5 hours. Probably won't be back on a weekend. Course and greens were in good shape, fast and firm.
Been a minute
Course was in nice shape. Greens rolled true and fairway lies were nice. 1 bad tee box. Traps looked a little hard but luckily avoided them all day. Pace early was good, right at 4 hours. Fun layout.
In great shape
The course was in great shape lots of actual grass which for Florida right now is hard to come by. Got it for $44 hot deal worth every penny normally $85 course.
Great Round of Golf
The course is a good and fair test of golf which is well mapped with GPS it was crowded but the pace was good I thoroughly enjoyed my round and would play again
No ranger
There was no ranger. We waited on every shot as soon as we got to the second hole. Made for a long day.
Diabolical pin placements
A very pretty course, a stretch to refer to it as links style though. Black tees at 5700 and white at 6300. Glad we chose black. Greens reachable in 2, or 4 depending on how bad at chipping you are. But then, the greens! Very good condition, fast and often sloped. Place the pin at the front and 3 putts become the norm. 10:52 tee time and finished in 4.5 hours with waiting on every hole.
Frustrated
Even though I made my tee time a week ahead of time, they double booked it the day before and moved my time back to make room for the new players. I think this is unfair to those of us that actually plan ahead but, when I questioned this in the clubhouse, they acted as though they didn't care what I thought. I am a regular player there - at least every other week and don't appreciate the double booking - it looks like the money is more important than the players...
Pace of play
Sloooow. Group ahead of us had two holes open. Didn’t seem to care.
A Good Chocie
The greens were on the fast side, General conditions were good to very good, Not many elevations changes, not surprisingly given its location. Several very interesting holes and blind tees shots. The course was busy, but we got behind a rather slow foursome and two of the four players in our group dropped out after 11 holds in frustration. I persisted and it ended up for a 4 hour and 20 minute round, which was ok. I'll also note that I was the only one I saw who walked this course. Its an easy walk of 7.44 miles, so think about ditching the cart. Overall a very good experience and good value for my money with a $48 hot deal---a solid 4 starts in my opinion. .
Good day for golf
It was a nice day! The course was packed and it was five hour round oh well. I got paired up with some nice people and we had a good time. It’s a beautiful course and I will be back.
OK
Nothing special for layout, course conditions not the best, greens were decent
Wide fairways few water hazards
Recent draught causing many brown patches. I will continue playing this course. Well maintained considering drought.
Very playable
Always enjoy this course. There was a morning scramble still finishing at our tee time. The pin positions were a bit unreasonable which further slowed down play. 5+ hour rounds are not enjoyable for me. Have play here before and slow play was not an issue.
