Summerfield Crossings Golf Club
About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Loved it!
Exceptional value for the price, highly recommend this course…
Decent Course BUT…
The course is decent, greens are bumpy and fast with a bunch of weeds growing in here and there. Honestly our poor experience is based off the staff, there is one particular person that seems to “run the pro shop, he’s always behind the counter, he’s constantly so rude and disrespectful to all customers. He is VERY passive aggressive and it’s “his way or his way” . I’ve personally watched him talk down to his staff and customers on multiple occasions. We are PDP members and will be keeping Cypress Creek our home course, and drastically cutting back here because of this person. It’s amazing how the owner would let somebody like this be the face of the course, and everybody knows this person. It’s no secret.
I PLAYED with 2 friends.First time playing and GPS on golf carts made it good for water holes.Greens were fast and hard to stop downhill putts.Front 9 was slow,2 1/2 hours due to slow group in front of us.Played back 9 in 1 3/4 hours.Would recommend playing and will play again.
Slowest pace evet
Maybe the tee times are scheduled too close to each other? It was taking 20 minutes per hole. On the second hole ( a par 3) there was a group on the green, two groups waiting and another just leaving the first green. Almost 3 hours for the front nine. I don’t know if I’ll ever play there again.
Hole in One - number 12th
This will be my #1 course. My wife saw me “Hole In One” on number 12th 143 yards on 01/24/25 PRICELESS.

Pace of play, overbooking, & shenanigans
Course needs a starter. I had a 1:37 tee-time and it was significantly backed up. People were just going out in two or threesomes, some in fours at random. Significant pile ups causing 10-15 wait times to TeeOff. Cart service was stopping groups in the middle of the fairway when groups were waiting on the tee box. As we got to the10th hole, random twosomes were teeing off causing further delay. One guy was wearing basketball shorts and flip-flops while they teed off and played multiple balls. A guy drove through two groups while we were waiting to tee off in a six-person cart with two dogs, which stopped play. Had to stop at hole 15 because it was getting dark and there was no way we would finish. Likely won’t play this course for sometime if ever. Very disappointed because I usually have a good experience with the course.
Starter was not working on starting.
There was no one on the first tee for 25min and he just let us sit there all that time. Then there was 5 of us there at the same time which slowed down play.
