Summerfield Crossings Golf Club
About
Summerfield Crossings Golf Club is a fun Scottish links style championship golf course designed by Ronald Garl. There are many moguls and palm trees that come into play throughout the course. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has wide, gently rolling fairways, but do not underestimate the challenge. You must keep the ball on target thanks to pot bunkers, waste areas and small, undulating greens. The signature hole is No. 6, a 171-yard, par 3 that calls for a carry over water to a small peninsula green. Summerfield Crossings Golf Club has a wide, gently rolling fairways.

Over seed looking good Photo submitted by maydaytourney on 12/21/2017
Starter was not working on starting.
There was no one on the first tee for 25min and he just let us sit there all that time. Then there was 5 of us there at the same time which slowed down play.
pace of play doesnt exist
great practice facility and greens were great.. some rough/wet areas on course, however pace of play was terrible and we got about 9 holes in 3:30.... we went after 9 and they did not give us a raincheck or refund for the other 9 holes
I am 77 years old and a good golfer. This course was very challenging. Too many long holes. Greens were extremely difficult to play.
Good shaoe
Good shape course, just play during the week for slow pace of play during the weeks. Close tee times make it slow.
Overall good conditions
The course was in good conditions from tee to green. There were some green with weeds on them and if they get rid of them it will be in great conditions.
Look forward to returning soon.
Good course
We always play this course at least once when we vacation in the area. The par 3 island- like hole is always a challenge.
Summerfield
Pace of play is an issue. Not having a ranger to manage it with 7 minute tee times is the big problem. Just expect to be hanging out in the cart
Nice course
Course in good condition and well cared for. Only complaint would be ignorant golfers not repairing pitch marks on the greens
Book it!
Played it with some top rate golfers. You will not be disappointed.
Slow and Average at best
This course books tee times 7 minutes a part which is too close considering the carts look like a parade line from hole 1 to 18. They also have people who just skip around to find empty holes to play as much as possible. (Usually those with the PDP membership). They do not care about your experience here and cram as many people as possible on the course. They have a good course and plenty of people live close by so they are busy - however they don’t care about your experience on their course. They will have 5 carts with 6-7 people out as a group (I experienced that on this round and have seen many times I have played here), people just drive around and jumping in front of you. Leaving a review won’t change their poor management (cypress and bloomingdale are owned by the same group so expect the same treatment) but hopefully it prepares the new golfers who come here to play.
