Reunion Country Club
About
Reunion Country Club is one of the most played golf courses in North Atlanta but despite its popularity, you can usually always get a tee time. The most distinguishing feature of the course is the hilly terrain, which provides plenty of challenges as well as stunning views across the countryside. The intimidating slopes and undulations can make it especially difficult if it’s your first time playing the golf course since there are many blind shots and forced carries. It’s a challenging but fair test that has a diverse mix of holes including some where you can use your driver and others where you’re forced to lay up. In addition to the dramatic elevations, another unique feature of Reunion Country Club is the par-5 seventh hole, which is the only hole in Atlanta with two greens.

Would expect more for the cost
Overall course was decent. Fairways are in good shape, and tee boxes are alright (a couple not great.
Biggest complaint is that the maintenance staff does not appear to rake or maintain bunkers overnight. I played a twilight on Saturday and a 7:00 AM on sunday. Not a single bunker appeared to be addressed. Footprints everywhere, massive lumps, etc.
Finally they need to get the starter to teach groups how to fix ball marks on the green, and to be careful with spikes on the green. Every green had massive ball marks, that were not fixed, and spike marks/shoe scuffs from people dragging feet across the green. Also had damage from people putting the bottom of the flag pole and leaning on it on the green as well.
Or they need to address how soft the greens are in order to prevent some damage from occurring in the first place.
Reunion knows how to do summer golf
Amazed how many courses in Georgia have their first tee times at 8 am. What are they thinking? We hit off around 7.30 am and yes greens had some moisture on them but who cares. Thank you reunion for the early tee times..
Beats playing in 90 degree heat.
Reunion is tough track and playing hard and fast on fairways. Although the 15th hole is impossible for ladies with forced carry of over 120 yards from fairway (not much they can do about it) . Greens were good and fairways needed some love. I filled over 50 divots. Lunch in clubhouse was fine.
Slow Play
Reunion was a very nice experience. Played wit two ever nice young people. Course was in good shape and a nice layout. The pace of play was awful, and course Marshall’s did nothing. Will be back to play again. Great value for the price.
Beautiful Course!
Challenging layout that has great balance hole to hole. Forces you to hit every shot in your bag at some point.
Course has more than the normal amount of blind shots so unless you've played it several times it's a challenge to know where to aim or how far to hit.
Could be Great
Reunion used to be one of the premier places to play in South Hall County and in NorthEast GA.
It has seen better days. Even though there were many brite spots to our round there were many lows also.
The Good-
Fairway grass and greens were full and nice.
The staff was very Friendly and polite. Ell the young lady on the beverage cart was very polite and helpful and kind as was the young man working the cash register in the club house and the course starter.
The cart boys not so much.
THe pace of play was good.
The Bad-
Golf Carts are in horrible condition and are a safety hazard. I was given a key and told i could pick my cart from the row outside. About 20 carts were there and they all had torn seats and bald tires. I didn't realize the brakes didn't work either. A little scary when you are on a course like Reunion with a cart paths that are steep and curvy.
The range and Range ball situation is in need of help. All i can say.
The course was at one time a beautiful place and great place to be at.
Sadly, the golfers don't always take care of it. So, they drive where they want and not on the paths or the entrance and exit locations. This has caused a lot of damage to the course around the cart paths which really makes it unattractive or at least not as good as it once was.
Reunion with proper investment could be a a great place again.
Greening up Nicely
Course is looking good, fairways and greens in good shape. Some rough bare spots hope they fill in with the heat. Overall great day, good value and a nice challenging course. Would definitely recommend
Great day
Another great day at Reunion! The staff was great, the food was good, and the golf even better! Paired up with a father/son who were newer to golf. The pace on the course was great! Saw the ranger and beverage cart multiple times. The course was in pretty good condition considering they had micro punched 3 days before. This course is tough so be prepared. Lots of up and down fairways, undulating bent greens, pretty good layout. For the money, best value around hands down if you enjoy a challenge!
Would not recommend
I played this course a couple years ago and it was really nice. During my recent round the course was in poor condition. Bad tee boxes and bad fairways. The staff was very rude both in the clubhouse and the first tee box. We had to wait at every hole and found out that the group holding everyone up was also staff. I would advise spending your money elsewhere at a nicer course with nicer staff.
Great Day, Good Course
This course is coming out of winter nicely. Greens are in really good shape, most fairways are in nice shape with a few exceptions. There are some bare spots on the course that I am not sure will recover without sodding. Overall, this course is a great value and a really nice course would highly recommend and will be back if I can get a tee time!
