Reunion Country Club

Reunion is always in good condition and is well run. Nice driving range as well. But, once again, the greenskeeper either isn't the person that sets the pin placements (i.e. maybe designating one of the "grass cutters" to do it) or either has no clue how to follow USGA guidelines for pin placements OR he knows the rules and simply refuses to follow them. Every time I play the course, there are 5+ pin placements that are simply abysmal. Today, there were 9 pins that were cut IN SLOPES. One of our foursome hit a 5 iron to 10 feet on one of the hardest holes on the course and had NO CHANCE to get the putt within 15 feet for his next putt (we all dropped balls to see how close we could get, and none of us could get it within 15 feet). There were also 3 pins that, when putting up the hill and missing, the ball came all the way back to your feet. Embarrassing for a great layout like this. Members have mentioned it to the GM a number of times and he does nothing about it. If you don't have a handicap or don't really care what you score, then this is fine. But, if you are serious about the game and actually want to play a fair round of golf where good shots are rewarded, then look someplace else.

We had to skip ahead of the group in front of us. No ranger to keep pace up and flowing good. Only played 17 holes in order to get done before darkness because of the slow play in front us. They didn’t have enough edict to let us play through. We waited on every hole until we moved in front of them.

I have played this course quite often and is one of my favorites but they teamed me up with such slow pace people and they said because they were filled up had no choice. Wanted a nice relaxing round yet I got a long uncomfortable one. More than likely will go to other courses instead of this one now.

Great service, great course conditions, challenging course and great food at mid point.

Was surprised to see parking lot full today, especially on a Tuesday at 12.06. No tournament being played. Backed up horribly, gave up on hole 13 did not complete round which was disappointing. Golfers on tee box, in middle of hole, and on the greens. Extremely slow play. Other dislikes of course is divots, ball marks, etc no being repaired by patrons and yardage markers not easily found if not at all. Disappointing day of golf.13 holes played in close to 4 hours. with no stopping for anything.

Love the layout. Well manicured and maintained. Definitely recommend.

Have played here several times but not much this year. Was a little disappointed with condition of course compared to previous outings but some of this is surely due to the brutal summer heat we have experienced. Greens were fair at best which were rough with bad spots on most. Sand traps were not good as well.Tees the same. I am sure it will be back to its previous conditions that was excellent after weather improves.. Sad to see so much building going up around course. Still one of my favorite courses.
