Hampton Golf Village

Hampton Golf Club is a reasonable track in pretty good condition; exceptions being the walk-on/walk-off areas on many holes. It was obvious that course management is trying hard to make this course more ideal, but it will take time and money. Most of the teeing areas were adequately grassed and not overly divoted; fairways typically in good condition; but, greens are not generous in size. Greens had just been aerated so it's impossible to determine how good these greens could be - they will have to recover. All in all, it's worth the time and money to play here assuming you travel from Atlanta.

First time playing this course. It is a gem. Some tough holes and easy ones. Rolling hills but lots of wide fairways. We will be back soon!

The course was in much better shape than the last time I played it, just some bare areas here and there, nothing major. The staff was friendly. Pace of play could be improved, we were waiting for most of the round as the group in front of us was always half a whole to one hole behind. The group behind had to wait as well.. The marshal came by a few times but pace did not improve until someone in my group almost hit into them and they got the clue.

The only thing, they change my bag to a different cart. My head cover did not to move to the other cart my a staff member. . I did not notice they where missing until the 2 hole. So after the round, I ask if they had them. No one could find them.?

All was well but the pace of play and the Marshall did nothing about it. He came around twice and asked on the first trip & and was told the group ahead were playing slow. Nothing was done.
