Great value
The course was in great shape. I played early so thee was some dew on the grass that kept the ball from rolling but allowed for me to attack the pin. Green we’re in good shape and I remarked that the fairways were in great shape several time. Only complaint was the traps weren’t maintained. All good I didn’t find one, but if I did I would have pulled it out.
Great round of golf!
Hampton always provides a great day on the course! Some challenging holes, particularly on the front nine, and a course that is designed to stretch you as a golfer. I usually play in the mid-80s from the whites, and always feel good when I can shoot well there! Best value for a good round of golf in the Dahlonega area. Will be back!
Bad customer service
Booked an 18 hole game and a thunderstorm came through while we were on our 11th hole. Didn’t let up so we left. When asked if they would honor our back half at another time, we were told no because we booked a “hot deal”. The hot deal cost $100! (which was a few dollars off but certainly still expensive.) I think they should have honored the back nine for another time.
Carts in Rain
It's the one time it rains you wish the golf cart had rain club covers. My grips are still wet.
Also, the GPS didn't work in our cart #15.
All-in-all we will come back.
Wish the price hadn't gone up.
Competitor has golf carts with better GPS, rain club covers, and cheaper prices.
Nice Course
Everything was good. Well maintained, good design, good staff and reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this course.
14 Years Later
Played it 14 years ago when the greens were mud, they’ve done a great job with the upkeep! Pace of play wasn’t awful, but far from smooth. Got there for a 11:21 at 11 to hit a few balls. They said they would put me on with a group currently on the tee, I thought fine. Get down there instead of hitting on the range and the Marshall comes over and asked if I could play with the group behind. It was a disaster start, like nobody knew where to put me. My 11:21 group went off before I got there. Not sure if it was a bad day of logistics, but the course was great.
