Hampton Golf Village

The course was in much better shape than the last time I played it, just some bare areas here and there, nothing major. The staff was friendly. Pace of play could be improved, we were waiting for most of the round as the group in front of us was always half a whole to one hole behind. The group behind had to wait as well.. The marshal came by a few times but pace did not improve until someone in my group almost hit into them and they got the clue.

The only thing, they change my bag to a different cart. My head cover did not to move to the other cart my a staff member. . I did not notice they where missing until the 2 hole. So after the round, I ask if they had them. No one could find them.?

All was well but the pace of play and the Marshall did nothing about it. He came around twice and asked on the first trip & and was told the group ahead were playing slow. Nothing was done.

The course was in great shape. I played early so thee was some dew on the grass that kept the ball from rolling but allowed for me to attack the pin. Green we’re in good shape and I remarked that the fairways were in great shape several time. Only complaint was the traps weren’t maintained. All good I didn’t find one, but if I did I would have pulled it out.
