I came to play this course in preparation for a Play Away Day with 20 ladies from Big Canoe. I had been given mixed comments about this course. Great Value - Tough Course

My wife and I played this course yesterday. Unless you can carry your drive at least 140 yards, don't play this course as there are several holes which require such a drive from the forward/ladies tees. Having said that, the course is in excellent condition with some of the best greens in the area -- well maintained and rolled to consistency. The course requires well positioned shots to avoid sloping fairways and perched greens. Thus, it is a challenging course even for a low handicap player and discouraging for a high handicapper. It is one of the best values for a quality, challenging course in the Atlanta area.
