About
Red Bridge Golf & Country Club in Locust is routed through stands of mature trees that give the course a peacefully secluded feel. The layout wanders across gently rolling hills, providing a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. There is a stream that runs throughout the golf course, coming into play on a few holes. The course is seemingly long at 7,100 yards from the back tees but it's more forgiving than it appears, which means players of all skill levels can enjoy the golf course. The design relied heavily on the natural features of the landscape, allowing the course to blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings while also shaping natural hazards. There are also strategically placed bunkers throughout Red Bridge that complement rather than overtake the natural challenges.

Course in great shape
Fairways, roughs and sand traps in good shape. Greens held the approach shot well, rolled true, were medium speed. Pin placements made for many difficult putts.
Unexpected
I was not aware when I booked that there would be a tournament being played. The pace was extremely slow. Usually Tee Off does not book tee times in the middle of a tournament. We would have enjoyed our round much better if the pace were not so slow.
Best Value in the Area
Red Bridge is a beautiful course with fantastic fairways and greens. For courses in the $50 range (Sat) you won’t find something better in the area. This course is one of the primary 3 on my group’s rotation!
I Love this Course !!!
I would say this is one of my favorite courses. I played Sunday and the pace was a little delayed. But the weather was beautiful and the course was in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly and the ranger kept the pace moving. I would recommend everyone visiting the area to play Red Bridge, Beautiful , somewhat challenging layout.
Lack of Institutional Control
Booked a tee time thinking I would be with a threesome. No starter, no management of tee times, players went out when they felt like it. Father/son, single, myself single, twosome was the order of play. Very slow play. Then, to make matters worse, one of the course employees and his friend jumped in front of me at the turn. I decided I had enough. The clubhouse attendant said I could get a rain check for nine holes until he found out I booked with GolfNow? Hmmm. Guess I’ll be booking tee times some other way. Money for course play is Money for course play, no matter who takes it!! BTW, I won’t be going back to Red Bridge. Guess they burned it with me.

Good course overall, better greens than most courses
I enjoy this course and find the greens in good condition. #18 is a monster hole. Range is far from pro shop and even farther from #1 tee. Parking lot is gravel and needs work.
Challenging, course in great shape., pace of play was good, great value for the money. Yardage book was helpful
Great place to play
Red Bridge is a beautiful golf course and a true test of your skills (or lack of). The staff is very friendly and we played 18 holes in less than 4 hours. the green fees are reasonable and the course is in great condition.
Pace
Great course but way to many players on the course. We gave up after 12 holes
For better for worse
This is a love/hate type course. Great location. Very challenging distances. A few holes are extremely challenging for females.
1 day after a heavy rain and it was in good condition. Used cart path the whole way but it was good. Great lay out. Beautiful views. Greens were in good condition. Would play it again.
Slow play?! I walked off the course after playing only 4 holes. You had to wait on every hole. I had to wait on every shot.
Played as a single, They advertised an open tee time. They .stuck me in between two foursomes. The foursome in front was like they owned the course with no idea about course nor time management. The foursome behind me waited for me waiting for them. If I was in that foursome I would have wanted my money back and walked off too.
To save my sanity I just left, drove to another course, paid my money and played my weekly round.
The management at Red Bridge has a lot to learn about running a golf course where the public is so grossly taken advantage of.
Can''t anybody here. play this game?
Not sure what day or time you played, but expecting to play as a single and go around the golf course without 4-somes seems a bit selfish. Of course if the 4-some in front of you had open space in front of them, they should let you play through. Plenty of people don't know common etiquette on the course and I don't know how blaming the course helps.

Nice course
Great value for the $$$. Greens and fairways are in good shape. Tee boxes are a little rough but overall very happy with the course.
Slow, slow play
First football Sunday, 9:15 am tee time....and start out 15 min late because of an "outing". 5 hour 20 min round, had to wait on every hole, so frustrating! At least two holes open in front of the outong and no ranger taking action to move things along. Tee boxes were a mess, but fairways and greens in very good shape.
Love this course, but another experience like this and it is off my list.
