Red Bridge Golf and Country Club

Although it was a little cool today it was sunny and dry. The course was well maintained and the staff, inside and out, were friendly and professional.

One of our regular group could not make it and a single joined us on the first tee. 'A' was a younger fellow with a superior game and is probably the best 'stranger' we've ever had to join us.

We're already checking for tee times next week and I'm thinking of joining as a member in 21...hope they can make me an offer I can't refuse!

Great course, will always be one of my favorites in charlotte area. layout is tough, greens are in great shape.

Good layout but helps to play it with someone who knows the course. The starter gave us a booklet with course hints that helped. The greens were I mm good shape and pretty fast, easy to run a pitch/chip off the other side if you were in the wrong position.

Love this course! Weather was cold and a little windy. Pace of play was 4.5 hours, could have been closer to 4 hours but a couple of groups in front of us held us up for most of the day. Course was in great shape, greens were awesome and slick! Best advice I could give is don't be above the hole. Always a good day at Red Bridge!

Fairways and roughs were typical of winter conditions. Greens rolled true,were medium speed and held the approach shot well.

I played this course many years ago and could not remember too much about it. We played it about a week ago and wanted to play it again before reaching any conclusions. To be candid, I have reservations about saying too much positive about the course as I would prefer not to have competition when it comes to booking a round!

For years I've been playing another course in the area that is great to play, but several personnel changes in addition to the worst paths I've seen anywhere made me want to try other courses.

The paths at Red Bridge are perfect, the staff was friendly/accommodating and the electric carts were quiet and very clean. All courses are busy now, so it was fully booked, but play moved along well. The course has many elevation changes and features that require thought before striking the ball...the way it should be!

BTW, the greens are properly maintained and putting was a treat (unfortunately, though my aim was true, the gusty winds seemed to keep my ball from finding the cup). ;-)

Overall, a good course with good greens. Hard to see them ever having a permanent clubhouse and parking lot.

I enjoyed the Hot Deal price, but may not have had the same view had I paid the walk up price. The course was in decent shape for Nov. The weather was a mix of light rain to breezy sunshine over the 4 hour play time. I enjoyed this course and would probably play again if I find another hot deal on tee off.
