Golf Club At Wescott Plantation - Oak Forest Course
About
Situated in the heart of Lowcountry, the Golf Club at Wescott Plantation is part of one of the area's oldest plantations. There are 27 holes of golf available at the club, which are divided into three nine-hole courses: Oak Forest, Burn Kill, and Black Robin. Although each golf course has a different character and scenery, they are all dappled with centuries-old live oaks and wetlands. The Oak Forest Course takes its name from the original plantation and has wider fairways than the other two courses. Lush vegetation frames each hole and the classic bunkering embodies the traditional feel of the course. The eighth hole is the signature hole of the entire golf course, distinct for both its scenery and difficulty. Par will be tough on this par 3 with a lake bordering the entire left side.

Great Golf
Family Vacation in Charleston...
My son and I decided to play Wescott. Very happy we did! Very nice course... Greens were great.! We had a wonderful day! Thanks!
Nice course
Nice course very generous fairways, good par threes. Fairways lacked much grass and were very hard. I will try it again this summer!
Great Winter Shape
Course is in great shape and playing awesome. As always the staff is friendly and helpful. The greens were surprisingly fast for the conditions and roll true. If you've never played here, visitor or local, you should.
$$$
Was a great day. Greens fast and a bit of hold...
Enjoyable and Golf Now made this round special at a wonderful rate!!!
Very Giod
Very good golf course. Greens were excellent. Very very fast and smooth. I played as a single and four groups let me play through. That southern hospitality for you. Granted, the weather was perfect but the course was a close second.
Wet course, but great day.
A couple of us tackle this course one afternoon after it had rained the day before. Fairways were wet (cart path only) but greens were in excellent shape. Pace of play was great and the staff was very friendly. I will play this course again if in area. Great value.
Great course!
We got a Friday afternoon Hot Deal. It was an absolute bargain to play Wescott at that rate. The course is in great shape and the greens are on the fast side. I highly recommend this course!
great greens
Great greens for november. Course was ingreat shape for late winter.
Great golf
We travel the country. This course is one of the best for the money! Loved it! Greens are super fast.
Robinhood
Great course. We live locally and enjoy playing Wescott.
Fun course
Course was in great shape. Fast greens but rolled true. Fairways in great shape.
Great pace of play
The course was in great shape after Suffering Hurricane Matthew. Fast greens and tricky rough will keep you on your toes!
Beautiful course
Our first time playing here and we were pleased with everything from beginning to end except the pace of play. Foursomes had deuces waiting, which in turn made for some back ups.
Nice courses
Only issue with the course was the sand traps. They are traps. Hard crusty dirt. Little to no sand.
Nice Sunday round
Every Sunday juniors play for free, which is a great deal. My son and I try to play every Sunday and the course is not very crowded later in the afternoon.
