Golf Club At Wescott Plantation - Black Robin Course
About
The Golf Club at Westcott Plantation may be owned by the city of North Charleston but it is far from being your typical municipal course. The 27-hole layout is divided into three nines: Black Robin, Burn Kills, and Oak Forest. They each take their name from the plantation's long history, it's one of the oldest in the area. Care was taken to preserve the centuries-old live oaks and pristine wetlands that are scattered throughout the entire course. Black Robin is the tightest of the three nines with small greens that make it the most challenging as well. Every hole is framed by lush vegetation and various streams, ponds, and wetlands come into play throughout the course. The golf course ends with a welcome chance for a birdie in case you didn't fare too well on the tougher preceding holes.

Cool Course
Three courses, all fun and challenging. Lots of wild life and beauty while hunting for errant shots!
Enjoyable
This course has 3 nines of which I played two. The course is rather open with wide fairways. The greens on the first nine had been recently top dressed, so they didn't roll true. The greens on the back side, however, did roll true with average speed. It was worth the money I paid.
Always playable
Wescott is my "go-to" course. It's always in good shape and the staff is very helpful. The fairways are in great shape and the greens roll true (but tricky sometimes). You won't be disappointed
Nice course for the money
The course wasn’t in the best shape due to all the rain and the recent aerating of the greens. But it is a nice course with wide fairways and good greens. The staff, especially Maggie, were welcoming and a good resource.
What you give expect
I always enjoy myself. I get a nice course with exceptional services
Three 9 hole courses of relaxation
Great place to play
Greens still recovering from aeration.
Great course in N Charleston, SC
This is a course you have to try if you are in South Carolina, especially the N Charleston / Summerville area. They have three different 9 hole courses that combine for very enjoyable golf. The course was in great shape while other courses in the area have dried up. Greens were true, fairways cut well, and it's only moderately challenging (which I liked). Try it, you'll like it.
Great layout!
Good, long course. Greens could have been a little faster but the course itself was in great shape.
Great course
Played here with my brothers for the first leg of our golf weekend. Great course, really enjoyed it. Greens in good shape after a recent aeration
Course was in good shape. friendly staff, and the members where welcoming.
Nice layout, good pace
Friendly staff and nice layout. Went off as a twosome with my son, good place of play ahead of us. Course had recently aerated greens, they had not yet recovered. Only course condition complaint is the bunkers, they were washed out and crusty. Would recommend for the price.
