The Highlands golf course is one of three courses owned and operated by Meadows Country Club. In addition to the Highlands and Meadows Courses, there is also the Arthur Hills-designed Groves Course, an 18-hole executive course. The Highlands Course has an "old Florida" layout equipped with plenty of trees and water that tumble across gentle hills. You'll be playing through majestic oaks and towering pines as you take on this challenging-but-fair test. Narrow, tree-lined fairways and small greens demand accuracy but generously the reward well placed shot. The golf course finishes with a tricky par 4. Your tee shot will to be straight and accurate to avoid the fairway bunkers on the left and right, positioning you for a mid iron back into a green that sloped front-to-back and guarded by bunkers on both sides. There is also a lake to the front left.

As Close To Private Club Conditions & Layout As You Will Ever Find
This course recently hosted a Stage 1 qualifier for this summer’s US OPEN. Need you say any more? Bring a lot of balls and play from the appropriate tees. Great course with top notch greens.
Loved set up of course
Played less than 3 and half hours with my brother and had a great time. We teed off early, pace was great but not sure how pace is later.
Good Course, Excellent Value
Played afternoon round on beautiful day. Course in decent shape. Sand traps manicured. Greens rolled true. Hope to come back again soon. Recommend.
Rough greens
Greens have big burn spots on all of them . Fairways not real green think water management is lacking
. It is a challenging course but fair hit it straight easy to score

Several greens had bare spots that looks like fungus kill or overfertilizing. I'm sure not getting any rain and the heat are playing their part.
Good Course, Decent Shape, Excellent Value
Played mid-week, mid-day round, in under four hours. Greens were not that fast but rolled true. Cups were cut very sharp. Fairways and bunkers were all in good shape. Overall experience was a very good one. Had not played this course in a couple of years but look forward to going back again soon.
dead greens
Looked like someone forgot to pay the water bill. The greens had big dead patches and the fairways had hard bare ground.

Good course the money
Course was in pretty good shape. The greens were a little slower than I prefer but they rolled great. Pace of play was just OK but all in all it was a fun day.

Perfect day on the golf course. First time out this year, so I needed to get back on the horse. great fun
Good value
Nice course for the money. My only complaint is the lack of a driving range for non-members. When you’re playing once a week, that warm-up is essential, so it’s hard when you have to start cold turkey.
