The Highlands golf course is one of three courses owned and operated by Meadows Country Club. In addition to the Highlands and Meadows Courses, there is also the Arthur Hills-designed Groves Course, an 18-hole executive course. The Highlands Course has an "old Florida" layout equipped with plenty of trees and water that tumble across gentle hills. You'll be playing through majestic oaks and towering pines as you take on this challenging-but-fair test. Narrow, tree-lined fairways and small greens demand accuracy but generously the reward well placed shot. The golf course finishes with a tricky par 4. Your tee shot will to be straight and accurate to avoid the fairway bunkers on the left and right, positioning you for a mid iron back into a green that sloped front-to-back and guarded by bunkers on both sides. There is also a lake to the front left.

Worst greens I have played this winter on the front 9
Front 9 greens where bad. They should be ashamed of themself for charging $50 for greens this bad. They should also be embarassed for there shape, Bare spots everywhere on the greens on the front 9. Back nine greens where better but still not good, average at best.

Over all, the fairways were ok, however many greens had bare spots with sand on them...I don't know if these conditions are due to the lack of rain in the area? I've played this course many times and remember it being in better shape...Still a nice layout ..
Don’t waste your money
Played here a few years ago, wasn’t a bad course. Played today the cart paths are horrendous. The tee boxes are destroyed and dried out, fairways aren’t too bad, but the greens are absolutely awful, torn apart, dried out, full of weeds, sand, there’s definitely a fungus or bug issue on the greens. The course itself is a fun course with good layout but very very poor quality.

Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere I have played putt putt courses in better shape. The greens are terrible all burnt up and crabgrass growing on greens and fairway. We paid 73 to play it in all reality a maybe 30 course at best. That may be pushing it. We made a mistake of not reading reviews before booking our mistake.
Fronjt 9 greens terrible
The front 9 greens were in terrible condition...fungus or other issues, weeds...virtually unplayable. Back nine far better. Not sure why they've deteriorated so badly...
The greens????
I have played here 4 other times and this time they moved the club house across the street which threw me off a little bit. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We checked in and out quickly. The fairways were in good shape. I read recent reviews and they said the greens were in rough shape. They were 100% correct. The worst I have seen for this course. Overall like the layout and will play again. Hope the greens get better.
Great layout; front nine greens pockets-marked
Nice, meandering layout through attractive grounds w/ many birds. Front nine greens were in rough shape but overall conditions on course were good. Groves course, the executive 18, has better green but the second nine on Highlands gives room to swing
