The Highlands Golf Course

The condition of the greens are absolutely terrible! In this condition I highly recommend playing elsewhere. The rates they are charging for the course in this shape is a crime. We were told by the starter they were in rough condition due to being booked fully because other course nearby closed for repairs. The terrible condition is not because of tee times booked solid for a few weeks straight. Most nice courses are this time of year and still have nice greens. They have been mismanaged. This course needs to be shut down for repairs. Don't throw your money away.

We played the highlands course, 1 of 3 courses at this location. Our first time to this area and it didn't disappoint! What a great neighborhood too to live in! We didn't see much practice facilities but the course and area reminded us of Hilton Head Island courses. Lots of trees, no thick rough, water on some holes. Overall not super long but definitely challenging at times. My son played from the red tees (except for a few) and did well too. The staff was great - pro shop lady was friendly and they COMP'd my son (and anyone under 15!). Overall definitely recommend!

Greens more dirt than grass and tee boxes were obliterated. Layout is pretty good but course needs a lot of attention

I played this course last year. It was a nice course. I should have read the reviews. They had top seeded the greens. It also looked like the fairways had been recently aerated. These courses need to post of golf now, when they are not in good shape. Definitely not worth the money. Hope they put some time/money into the course for future play. It could be a nice course.

I have played this course several times over the last three years. Today was the worst. Every green on the front had damage. Greens were slow and bumpy. The back was much better. Greens rolled better and fairways were filled out with a nice base of grass. I will call the pro shop to verify conditions, before I go back. This course is enjoyable when it is in good shape. Staff is great!

Dry conditions but the course is in good shape. Enjoyed the round.

It's a nice course layout with some interesting holes. Unfortunately the greens are not in good condition and the cost is not comparable in my opinion.

Front nine was really terrible. Fairways had no grass, greens chewed up, a real mess. Back nine was somewhat better. Wouldn't play again.

I moved here 6 months ago and this is by far the worst course I have played. The front nine should be closed until they have grass in the fairways and repair the greens. You have to aim for the rough if you want to have some grass under the ball.

The front 9 desperately needs attention. The greens are not in good condition and the fairways are marginally acceptable, . The back 9 is in much better condition.. If they would improve the front 9, I would give it a 4-5 stars.

The course was in very good shape. Greens were fast and in excellent shape. Layout was enjoyable. A very good course to play if you want to make your day a little better. This was particularly enjoyable because I normally play once per week but had not played in several months because of the treat of Covid 19.

This course was a blast, the staff is super friendly and they have schedulers and tee box managers to ensure people get off at their tee times( no worries as they space them appropriately for faster play) for the price, the best course in the area.
