About
The Highlands golf course is one of three courses owned and operated by Meadows Country Club. In addition to the Highlands and Meadows Courses, there is also the Arthur Hills-designed Groves Course, an 18-hole executive course. The Highlands Course has an "old Florida" layout equipped with plenty of trees and water that tumble across gentle hills. You'll be playing through majestic oaks and towering pines as you take on this challenging-but-fair test. Narrow, tree-lined fairways and small greens demand accuracy but generously the reward well placed shot. The golf course finishes with a tricky par 4. Your tee shot will to be straight and accurate to avoid the fairway bunkers on the left and right, positioning you for a mid iron back into a green that sloped front-to-back and guarded by bunkers on both sides. There is also a lake to the front left.

Course had some greens in poor condition fairways a little dry but over all good.
Play
ing tim was great , played 9 holes in 1 hour 45 minutes
Disappointed
The fairways are not the greatest. On the first nine the greens are burnt and very patchy. On the back nine the greens were healthier and the fairways were only ok. I am not the best golfer by far but this is not worth the money and a huge rip off. We were the first to tee off in morning so I can’t tell you how the pace of play really is. I golfed The Groves two days earlier which was a shorter course and thought that was good so I thought I would try this one.
Good friendly course
I teamed up with a person and had a good time and even a few laughs. The staff at the course were very friendly and helpful.
Not worth the money
Course in a very bad condition , starter unfriendly pace of play inakzeptabel.
Dry
Not sure why the course was so dry with all of the rain this season. Some greens great, others a mess. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Great time. Course was awesome. Just keep the rakes in the bunkers.....
Relaxing Round
Course is in good condition compared to other course played. Relaxing atmosphere, good pace. Will definitely be back.
Needs TLC
Tee boxes - rough shape
Fairway - Spotted in areas.
Greens - bare spots- weeds- rolled OK
Layout - OK
Price to high for the course, This is a $50-$60 course at best.
Only would play again if in that price range.
Good Deal
We got a great deal with Golf Now. My husband and I had a great round. We got paired up with a couple guys who were super. All the workers were very friendly and helpful.
Muny conditions
I grabbed a special $74 would not play again for that. Good layout but in muny shape with lots of dirt areas in rough and around the greens. Greens are overseeded and put fairly well with good speed, here again some bare spots.
Course layout is excellent and staff is very helpful and friendly. Got a free beer and a $2 hot dog at the turn. Tell me where else that happens today.
Poor Conditions for this track
I used to play this course often years ago when the prices were reasonable.At a rate of $88.. this course is no where ready to be in that range.Prices have increased over the past few years but this course hasn’t done the work necessary to charge that amount.
Standard layout - decent shape
Course is in ok
shape. However, the greens were better than most courses we have played this winter. Layout is ok with several long tricky holes but most are average. It is about a $50 course but seems like all prices are up this year.
Everything you want is here … except maintenance!
Great layout, very challenging, very forgiving, but needs TLC.
