Very disappointing.
Greens were terrible. Fairways not much better....10-18 is basically a pitch and putt. NOt great and would never go back.
Don't go
This place is in worse shape than an average Florida lawn. Starter was oblivious to the group supposedly finishing a shotgun scramble event. There was a two hole gap but the starter refused to let us go. Then we watched a player in that group we were waiting on go back from the fairway and hit another tee shot.
The price of a Diet Coke (can) went up from $3.50 to $3.75 after the first 9 holes.
Skip this one even at a low price.
Open under new management. They are fixing the course to get up to par.
tight layout
Bring a few extra balls if you intend to challenge this little executive layout. There are numerous ditches and lakes that are hungry for balls. Its a very old course that is lacking funds for proper maintenance built into a neighborhood. I've played this course for many years and only come back because it's CHEAP and it shows it. Whatever you do, don't hit driver off #1 tee. Nothing on the course is in great condition, greens, traps, fairways or tees. Even saying all the bad things, it's still golf and a fun layout to play, if you are not expecting anyway near pristine conditions. Like I said, it's cheap, and the starter, cart guy, JJ is as nice as you will find. They also give a military discount, if you ask for it.
Okay for Sarasota starter courses
So far during my month stay in Sarasota, this course and the green fees match. Average fees and average course. I golfed with another guy who drives up 1-2 times per week to play the course. He, too, refuses to pay over $100 to play a decent course. I have booked another tee time at the Palms.
Good Beginner Golf Course
With some challenging fairways and lots of Par 3s it is a good course to improve your game. Friendly staff and flexible tee times make this a must play golf course
Disappointed
Me and my wife played recently. First did not realize it was an executive course. Course not in good shape. Greens small and. Not good. Probably won’t play again
The staff is filing and courteous!
Fine if you just wanna go out and bang some balls around!
Executive 18
If you are looking for a quick 18 then this is great - keep in mind it is an executive course but was fine and was able to get around quickly
