Good value
First time in the area. Found the course to be fun. Greens were great; rest of the course so-so. Short course, but plenty of tee choices. Tee boxes and fairways sketchy here and there, but the price reflects the conditions. If you want a perfect course, go to TPC or University and pay for it. If you want to have some fun on a short-ish course for not much money, enjoy this course.
First time paying
Loved the front 9, nice layout, the back nine were primarily par 3’s. Two par 4s on the back nine, no par 5s, fun course, I prefer a full 18
the wife actually finished 18
wife wanted to play so I splurged and popped for HOT Deal 22 bucks lol, Yikes fairways, tees and traps poor cond. greens rolled well. front 9 layout was challenging layout, back 9 all par 3s other than 18th. chose a cold windy day so we breezed thru. sorta got what we paid for, staff very friendly. clubhouse small with few amenities. wouldn't play again but great track for kids/beginners and if you want to entertain the wife
Nice public course
The course is nice. Good pace of play. Nice course for beginners and average player. The only down side is the staff checking in do not utilize COVID 19 precautions
Starter trying his best
Starter tried his best to get golfers out but other golfers were seriously cranky about order/timing!
The experience is all about other’s attitudes! Whoa!!
Wow..
Not worth the money...... course layout is flat out dangerous..... no grass..... greens the size of postage stamps.... completely disappointed
SNAFU from start to finish
First, not only does this course not take cash, they don’t get GolfNow payments or reservations either. Paid for GN, but they had no record of my payment or reservations.
So ok, they honor the cheap $35 rate, and of course we had to pay again at the course, but they make up for the discount green fee rate at the concession bar. NASTY cold hot dog ( literally inedible )and a can of soda is $9.10 One bite and I took it back to the counter. Worst gc food in the United States.
Yep, high ball park prices and far less than ball park quality, sums up this place from start to finish.
Not sure if I will ever get my $ back from GN, and sure didn’t get any back from the nasty hotdog either.
Zero stars. Go play in the city park instead.
Don't!!!
Conditions.? Goat track
Layout....questionable
Course couple be great, but the conditions need major attention and updating.
Not worth it.
Course has seen better days. Fast dry greens. Poor fairway conditions. On a positive, Staff was very friendly and bar was decent. Entire back 9 is a par 3. Except for 10 & 18 which are 300 yd par 4’s.
Definitely a cheaper course in the area but much better options for the price point. Would not return.
Nice course
Should have done my home work but played with my wife. Should have played gold tees. Front nine is a mixed bag. Back nine is mostly short par 3’s and great for “ the bride” but...
Dangerous tee boxes
The staff was great and the course was ok. Some tee boxes were beat up and spot in the fairway were bare. The biggest issue I had was the tee boxes being really close to the greens. Many are right next to the previous green, especially on the back 9, and we had the two drop a ball next to our carts a few times and then on the back a single did it another 3 to 4 times. Hole 16 is like 50 yard Par 3 but the tees for 17 are right behind it and i hit the green and it went over and by the 3 some in front of us. I held up my wife and daughter from hitting but you can't wait to have the tee and green clear to hit and not slow things down a lot. So be aware.
Yes the Golf course is a cashless facility and we have been for 5years since we opened. It also states that with golf now when you book a teetime. With our Hotdog Combo we served 12 hot dogs that day to numorous customers with no complaint. Also you have a choice of Soda, Draft Beer or House wine plus you get your choice of chips with your meal. One last comment the City course has been closed for over a year now. If you have any more issues you should call me - Sven Nelson General Manager i was also the one that took care of you this day.
Thank you
