Native Oaks Golf Club

Greens, fairways, Sand-traps are all in amazing condition. The tee boxes are very nice for the most part except for a few spots that aren’t level as they have battled gophers here for awhile. Pro shop and food service are great. They have an excellent practice facility, with a grass range & sand-trap w/chipping green and a nice putting green. Golf carts are nice and comfortable with nice cushions for seats. No gps in carts is a small bummer. Lakes are healthy, well kept and full of life. The value is pretty cool too, $43 at 12:45 on a Tuesday and played in 3 hours 45 minutes. Wow what a day. Beauty is off the charts out here, especially on the back nine. If you play from the tips the tee shots on 10 and 11 can be pretty challenging. Can’t wait to go back again as it seems like the course improves condition every time I play here.

Beautiful golf course, nice fairways, putting greens are well maintained, nice layout, reasonable price. I will go back to play this course again. Recommendable!

Played Saturday morning with a 20 minute frost delay , but they were able to get everyone going quickly and smoothly. Course is in fantastic shape. Bunker perfect.. greens great…

I’ve been playing this course since it opened so I have seen it change over the years. I can confidently say that it is in the best condition it has ever been in. Everything from the tee boxes to the fairways to the greens was perfect. Can’t wait to play here again soon.

What is it with all the courses raising rates to beyond what they are worth? It's getting ridiculous. This is not a $90 course. Sorry. $70 maybe, but thats it. The course is fun, but there are a few mickey mouse holes and its definitely overpriced.

In my opinion, this is one of the best public play golf courses in San Diego County for the money. It’s a longer drive for us, but well worth the extra time. OB sports does an excellent job on course maintenance.

Played here 2 years ago. Since Troon is managing it the conditions are improving!

It’s a challenge especially in wind.. but great value!

This course is pure, greens roll true and pretty fast. There was a frost delay and they called me to let me know. I appretiated the call rather than an email that goes into my spam folder.

Fun course. Greens were great. Fairways pretty good. Staff was very good.

Always a treat playing here. You can tell they’ve invested and made improvements since it was called Woods Valley. Only issue I have is the pace always seems a bit slow. Granted last time I played they were hosting a tournament so kudos to them for helping the sport, but even before it seemed like a big ask to finish 18 within 4ish hours on the weekend which I always thought was a reasonable time frame. If you can get in the right time, maybe mid week, it’s a very fun course ESPECIALLY the back 9, but be ready for a longer round and don’t plan on finishing if you’re teeing off in the afternoon.

We were looking for a game as we travelled to San Diego from Palm Springs & stopped here. For the money it was a decent play, a little rough in some areas but overall conditions were pretty good. The back 9 layout is very good & not easy.

Staff is great, everyone we encountered was very friendly from pro shop to starter to cart guys & marshal who was on the course speeding things up when we hit a slow spot.

Haven’t played here in several years. After the buy out I decided to try it out again. Course is in the best shape I have seen it. Greens are firm and fast and in great shape. Fairways have grass and are also in great shape along with the tee boxes. Certainly would play there again.
