Good value
Inexpensive course so don’t expect too much. The greens weren’t in great shape but the rest of the course was. A couple challenging holes but mostly straight to the pin. At least it is regulation, you won’t find many regulation courses in the same price range so I still consider it a decent value and will play this course a few times a year, especially when I am playing with friends that don’t play that well because it is a pretty easy course. The staff is always friendly, so you don’t have to worry about upscale snobby staff.
Deteriorating conditions
When we played here a few weeks ago, the greens were really improving, but the rest of the course was rough. This time, the greens were showing definite signs of deterioration. Lots of brown and sandy top dressing. Speed of greens was inconsistent as a result. Fairways were thinning out. Tees were very rough, some barely playable without moving beyond the regulated teeing area. The saving grace was the pace of play. When we arrived for our tee time, the first tee was jammed with a big league which clearly would have made a late start and a slow round. The combination cart man and starter came to the rescue by allowing us to start on the back. We played 18 in under three hours! However, we were disappointed in the course conditions.
Hard working staff inside and out. Carts were being cleaned and sanitized before and after play. Greens have more than one type of grass, makes a difficult putt not a true roll. Fairways could use some work. A little bit of a challenge.
A corse that is playable
This course is ok to play but not much of a challenge and very flat, the greens overall were in good shape The employees were friendly and helpful and at the right price I would play it again .
Nice course Rolling Green
Rolling Green was a very nice course . Price was right . Customer service was Great !!!
Good to get outside
I was most impressed with the operating conditions during the Covid crisis. From check in to mandatory 1 person 1 cart. My wife & I played. We came early expecting to warm up on range which was closed until further notice. We went off early then because the traffic was light. They had the flags so you couldn’t let your ball go down in the cup, it stayed ball high for easy pick up . Greens were in good shape, fairways are dry . We seen beverage cart on 1st hole but no where after that - my only complaint. It was good to be golfing.
Poor condition
Fairways were so dry and had little grass and many weeds which made it hard to enjoy the round. Some greens had bare spots but other than that they were OK. Would not recommend with the current conditions.
Nice Place to Play
Course was good above average for this time of season.
Meal was included in price also. Staff was very flexible and understanding. Pace of play was above average.

Play was very slow...we signed. Up for 18 but only played nine......the starter did let us play as a twosome but the longer we played the slower it got....there were two young guys holding up everyone.....they waited I til the green was clear before they teed off .....there was no one monitoring the flow of play! Not good! All tee offs were backed up......not worth the money!! Or the wait ☹️

Fun Day
Fairways are generous, they are dry so the ball traveled further than my average drives. Greens are in good shape.I was a single and paired with 2 great guys. They have a nice practice range. Staff was friendly. Will play again
Long Day
Had a 12:46 tee time for Tues. 2/25. No carts were available so we waited in line for carts to come in. Once we started playing, we had to wait on every hole and it took 5 hours to play. When we finished at 5:45 we couldn't even get a beer as the clubhouse was closed.
OK for the price
Simple,, straight forward layout. The tee boxes and fairways were dry and thin, but the greens were in relatively good shape, although pretty flat. OK for the price, but not challenging.
Noticeable improvements.
I last played Rolling Green in October. After a couple of years of general neglect, the course was then showing signs that someone was starting to care about and for it. I took a chance on a single slot on Sunday afternoon, and I was paired with a young man who hit the ball twice as far as me. We played in three hours! Both of us were impressed with the quality of the greens. A few are still spotted with small bare spots and uneven growth, but most were really in good shape. The course is not very challenging for the better players, but it allows those of us who are not long hitters to get to greens with the hope of making a respectable score with a good putt. We noticed last fall that the management was trying to tighten the fairways a bit and put some shape to holes by allowing the rough to grow up. The long rough has matured since the fall, and shots that are not in the fairways often result in lost balls in deep grass. Fairways are still a bit rough, but playable, and the tee boxes are showing signs of improving. The big difference is the quality of the greens. I will go back again soon.
Great bargain
The course is in good shape greens best part they have obviously put some work into the course condition relatively easy lay out fun to play good value
Good value for the money
Greens have been much improved this year over previous years. Fairways are not very plush. Many bare, dry spots. Need improvement. The great lunch and breakfast buffet and free drink make up for the bad fairways.
course going downhill
I play this course every year. I think the course is going downhill. The staff is very nice but they overload the course so badly in Feb. it is hard to get in a decent round in an acceptable time. There is no ranger to help and they have let the grass grow high in many places too high which further slows play. They have also mowed the fairways so close the turf is getting bare. The course used to be more enjoyable. They must have surely changed management. The greens are the best part of the course. They are very predictable and roll true.
