Golf carts, breakfast and lunch included. Nice touch. Greens were in generally good shape with good pace. Tees overseeded and OK. Fairways are bermuda which is dormant and many bare areas. Traps cut well and have new sand.
Need to mow the roughs
Need to mow the roughs. Felt like I was playing in a field that hadn’t been mowed in months. This course used to be so well kept.
For the money it was a good choice
I have played Rolling Green many times and its always in good shape the pace of play is good and you get to eat prior to or after your round....Its def. worth the money and for me its only 10 miles away ... I recommend it
Ghin
After playing I couldn’t post my score on GHIN. It wouldn’t allow me to choose which tee I played from.
Getting better
the course I played my first round of golf ever, 14 yrs ago., I don't play it much anymore. They have made some improvements over the last time I played here last year. They have cleared back a lot of the ob areas but I don't understand why they are not mowing areas that you were able to find your ball before? At least the green are still pretty good. Flat short course that can help you score if you just stay inbounds on your drives.
Gypie
Pace of play was slow. As many as 3 groups on one hole several times. Not much of a course to look at. Just flat—back and forth. No water. No doglegs.
Dog Track
Course screwed up our golfnow tee time to start things off. The grass was barely grass. I'm still covered in dust from playing.
Beers were cheap so there's that.
Nice Greens
Greens were on good condition. Fairways were not as good as most courses on the area. If your looking for a reasonable price this is a good choice.
HOLY@RG
It was a quiet day at Rolling Green because the weather was suspect. The tee boxes and greens were in excellent condition and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Everyone on the course seemed to be having a good time.
Definitely recommend to friends.
On it's way back
Getting better..Was very bad, now only slightly bad..Greens are actually pretty good..Fairways not so much....
