Rolling Green Golf Club

First impression today was a lax attitude about Covid precautions and risks in the club house. Customers and the staff at check in were not masked and there were too many people standing too close together. The carts are supposed to be cleaned but mine had an empty beer can in the side sand box.

The course is forgiving and the layout is nice and straightforward.. Fairways and greens were not in ideal shape with areas of mud and clumpy grass on the fairways and greens with repair areas and some bare spots. The bunkers were not raked by the staff nor the golfers even with rakes nearby (though that is not a great idea for those wanting to be Covid safe.)

There is a practice area but balls were old rocks and the grass was not ideally kept up for a practice area.

The price at this course is lower than many around.

Great day of golf in Florida at a friendly, nicely laid-out course.

Pretty fair shape. Fairways need work. Hope Louis survives his hunting of golf balls!!

My second visit was better than the first. Having played the course helped with my shots and aim. Still not in great shape, buta little lift clean and place helps. Greens were much faster and more true. Not the best course in town, but a great value.

The fairways are in poor condition. It’s like hitting off of bare ground. The fairway grass looks like weeds. The sand traps were not raked. The greens were acceptable but not great. The staff was friendly and the pace of play was fast

For the money, you cannot beat this course. Nice layout and extremely nice and appreciative staff. Barb also makes a mean BLT.

Fairways are pretty rough, very little grass. most of the tee boxes and greens are decent. Price included a fantastic lunch which included a soda or draft beer. Everyone that works there is extremely helpful and friendly.

Golfing here you get a great deal you can't beat. Great tee boxes, decent fairways, good greens, and if you play 18 holes you get lunch and a beer/drink included at a awesome price.

This was the first time I've played in Florida and my experience here was fabulous! The time I played was open, the price was very reasonable (through GolfNow) and included a cart and lunch! I had to rent clubs, but got a nice set for $20. I'd come here again in a heartbeat! Too bad this is our last day in he area (boo-hoo). Hope to be back and play again in the near future.

I play this course quite a bit with friends that get me on there for free. This course is very forgiving for higher handicap golfers but offers a few very challenging holes for low and mid handicappers, but that coupled with the low price makes for very slow play on the weekends. On Sunday I started on the back 9 to avoid the crowd. Playing solo I was around in about 50 minutes. Then caught up with the crowd and was over 2hours to finish my 2nd 9.

Allowing golfers play without their own clubs, poor starter controll, course is not in very good shape even for December. Very much an old public course, rate was the only good thing.

Course is still not great but way better than last year. Especially the greens. So wide open that you don’t lose balls and you move right along because no one else is looking for their ball.

Overall this is a very nice golf course and well laid out. Some of the green are need of some work and a couple of the fairways had a lot of leaves on it and it was hard to find the ball in the fairway.

The course is in BAD condition! Very obvious that they are waiting to close & not spend any more money on greens and fairways. It’s a SAD situation.
