Greens and fairways in very good condition.Would have no reservations about recommending " Sarasota National"

Staff was very friendly. Course was nicely maintained. Arrived early and got off before t-time

Best value for this time of year. Other course could take a lesson and give deals to fl residents

Greens need a lot of work and plenty of water needed on course

this was the second time in two weeks that this course overbooked and caused delay in start times. First time 20 min. second time 35 min.

As in all things in life, you get what you pay for. Sarasota Golf Club is a low priced course for those with non discriminating tastes. Struck me as an old course that needs to be seriously renovated. All courses wear out sooner or later. This one is well past it's "best before" date. Greens are like concrete with some kind of disease. And tiny. Not fun to play.

Crowded but least expensive for real golf course especially in season

Enjoyed the experience on the old styled Florida course.

This course is good for mid to high handicappers and probably the best value in the Sarasota area. Naturally it is not perfect. They don't have enough carts and many times you must wait for someone to finish their round before a cart is available for your round. Usually this is not a drastic problem until the last time we played. We had a l:45 tee time and it was 2:15 before we teed off. And they allowed a couple to go in front us that didn't have a tee time and were walking. We barely had enough light to finish our round but others behind us didn't have enough light to finish.

From the first step into the Proshop to the last step after 4 hours play this was a most enjoyable experience. The course was in good condition and the greens quite quick. Looking forward to play this course again soon!

Very nice GC I would play it again. I'm planning on inviting some other friends to play at Sarasota GC.

Staff at this course was overwhelmed the day we played. There were no carts when we arrived for our tee-time and 5 foursomes were stacked up ahead of us. We finally got off 30 minutes late and suffered through a nearly 5 hour round. On several holes there were 5 groups on the same par 4 with no ranger evident to help speed play. Greens were long, slow and scruffy. Although this was a great value it definitely was not worth the aggravation.

Course is in v. good condition, wide open with few hazards, as reflected by the fact that I finished with the same ball I started with. Good place to play if you are early in your vacation stay and need to get your golf swing back, or looking for a relaxed, low pressure course to enjoy with your spouse/friends.

Reasonably priced at $30. Friendly staff with limited
amenities. Course is lush and in average condition.

Sarasota Golf Club is an overall good course. There's nothing fancy, its not overly challenging, but its a good solid course. They have pretty good rates, especially this time of the year where some courses get away with highway robbery. I will be playing here again.

Wide and flat fairways, almost no water. Greens are flat and fairly large. Played faster than normal because the rough was short and didn't spend a lot of time looking for errant balls.

Played this course on a Friday afternoon was wide open...for $20, great value if you are looking to get a few swings in. The tee boxes were unkept and the fairways were below average condition..but what can you expect for $20? The greens were covered with divots that previous players did not fix...what a shame...Overall, can't expect much for $20 and got exactly what I was looking for...a course to get some swings in!

We played the course right after some wet weather. So it had not been mowed. It played a little longer than usual as a result. Having played the course a few years ago I was very surprised at the better conditions. The greens are much better. They were pretty true and not as slow as some of the public courses in the area. A few of the tees need attention and leveling, but they seem to be making progress on that. Some of the sand traps are skimpy and need more sand. All in all I found it to be a value for the price and would play it again.

We were pleasantly surprised at this course. Fun, long holes, unique holes and fairways. We will go back.
