Sarasota Golf Club

We played the course about a year and a half ago. The course has come a long way since then. Very nice for the money. Cart paths could use a little maintanance. Overall good deal.

The course offers a moderate challenge. Could have more bunkers or water hazard. Good layout and relaxed round of golf. Definitely one to recommend.

The course overall was nice. Not a lot of water and wide open. I bombed it down the fairway all day long. Very forgiving course for the average player. I enjoyed playing this course and shot the lowest score to date. I would play it again and again over time. Check it out.

This is one of those old-style courses that are flat and long with doglegs but not many interesting features. It's kind of like a mixture of Bobby Jones American and British. It's walkable and this time, it was enjoyable. Last time I had vowed to never go back because of the poor drainage, which left the middle of the course unplayable. I hope they've got that under control, but in wet conditions, I would ask.

Friendly staff. Course was very fun to play. No problems getting around. I recommend playing this course. Value is great.

Aside from the fact that you will not find a better deal anywhere in Sarasota, the course is a nice challenge from the whites, and the design is only lacking in one or two spots. While the fairways are generally wide (with bailouts), the greens are smallish (and need some attention in places). The clubhouse is old school. Much better spot than anticipated.

Liked just about everything about this course, We were treated very well in the clubhouse, the starter was super nice. We were paired with a very friendly couple from England. We were off the first hole as soon as we were ready. Played 18 in about 4 hours...very little waiting. Though not every hole was memorable they were enjoyable and extremely playable. Greens putted true and the course was in pretty good shape for
November. Generouse landing areas and not much water made for an enjoyable day.

Fairways & greens were in great shape, staff at facility were very cordial. I was recommended to play here a few years back and now I bring new guest to this course

the greens still need to "come in". Much better but still hard and sandy. Maybe another year of root growth will help. Greens are small and challenging.
Bunkers are not properly playable and need a couple of inches of sand that allows for a proper wedge shot..

great value for the price.markings to the next hole make it very easy to follow.

I found this course to be a better value for the money than many I have played with higher fees. The amenities are somewhat spartan, but the staff was very pleasant and helpful. The couse was in good condition, and not crowded
