Arroyo Seco Golf Course

Overall solid experience when you consider the price point. Don't expect to have your socks blown off by value, but don't expect to feel cheated either. It is a decently maintained public course thats great for an hour or two of quick par-3 golf. It gets the job done, no more, no less.

The location was a little hard to find since the streets wind around and Apple and Google Maps don't navigate you directly to the parking lot. The course itself was pleasant and dry (no muddy areas).

This place hasn't changed in 40 years. Still fun to practice the short game, learn or teach beginners. Driving range was wide open with lots of yardage targets. Not every green is puttable but it is what it is. I play the whole course with a PW, 52 wedge and putter. Some of the funky breaking greens make it interesting but great for target practice of you 100-110yd approach shots.

Fun little course that took just over 2 hours to play all 18 holes.

Along with the COVID restrictions implemented its a Good course to work on your short game. Used mainly my 9, PW, SW on this course. This course is Family-friendly, took my girlfriend and her friend along with me and enjoyed playing for fun. Will be one of my go-to courses.

Aroyo Seco is a top-shelf par 3 course, great for your mid-short game, so leave the woods in the car and stick with everything from your 7-iron up. Greens are really well kept and very challenging with tough reads and undulating terrain. The course is very sweet with a babbling brook running through the middle of it and plenty of trees to Mickelson your game. Give yourself three-plus hours to get round. A great morning or afternoon course. I'll be back.

Great course, small greens but yet they can go each and every direction. Overall quality of the course is great

They don’t care about keeping customers safe. We were sandwiched in between 2 foursomes. Signs everywhere that say wear a mask or you will be asked to leave. Not one person wearing a mask, Yelling and drinking. We voiced our concerns and they did nothing. Felt unsafe so we left after the 4th hole. All they offered was a refund of $6. Never going here again.

It is nice, easy par 3 course. I like that the grass are well maintained and the flags are visible.

Super simple par 3 course. Greens should be in better shape even though it's cheap. A couple of holes not intuitively mapped. Good course to practice your short game.

Beautiful par 3 17 hole golf course in the arroyo located in South Pasadena... Friendly staff.. better than average greens. No sand traps but challenging pin placements... No more than 2 hours to play. Very quiet and peaceful..Nice driving range too!!
